Executive Privilege over Gunwalker (Fast and Furious) Documents

Issa pushes ahead with Holder contempt vote despite Obama intervention

Published June 20, 2012
FoxNews.com

Rep. Darrell Issa said Wednesday that he is pressing ahead with a committee vote to hold Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress, despite an 11th-hour move by President Obama to exert executive privilege over the Fast and Furious documents at the heart of the dispute.

The announcement immediately touched off a caustic debate on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, as Democrats accused Issa of prosecuting a "political witch hunt" and Republicans stepped up their criticism of Holder's "stonewalling" over the Fast and Furious probe. Even for Washington, the tone at the hearing was decidedly bitter and accusatory.

The House Oversight and Government Reform Committee was first informed of the president's decision to exert executive privilege in a letter Wednesday morning, shortly before the contempt vote was scheduled.
You allow the murder of American and Mexican Citizens along with Border Patrol and ICE Agents, you know full well that ATF, FBI, DEA, the State Department and a multitude of others in feral Law Enforcement are involved right up to your lying Muslim Kenyan ass and you exert EXECUTIVE PRIVILEGE!

Do you think this will cover you?

Recall what your lying Muslim Kenyan forked tongue stated in 2007:

TC Hamm asks, WTF!?!

WTF!?!
Project Gunrunner

ATF announced a goal to deploy eTrace software to all thirty-one states within the Republic of Mexico. As part of eTrace expansion, ATF continues to provide training to Mexican and Central American countries to ensure that the technology is utilized to a greater extent.[3] Colombia and Mexico were provided with their own in-country tracing centers with full access to ATF firearm registration records. In Colombia, a joint ATF-CNP Center for Anti-Explosives Information and Firearms Tracing (CIARA) opened on December 6, 2006.[4] In Mexico, The National Center for Information, Analysis and Planning in order to Fight Crime (CENAPI) was established in 2003. ATF states these are models for planned future tracing centers throughout Central and South America and the Caribbean Basin.[5] In December, 2009, ATF announced deployment of a Spanish version of eTrace to Mexico, Guatemala and Costa Rica. A planned second phase will release the software to all Spanish-speaking countries with agreements with ATF. In June 2011 congress opened an investigation into project gunrunner against the ATF, as some ATF agents have come forward stating that top heads in ATFE and the Department of Justice instructed the agents to encourage gun stores in the U.S. to sell assault-style weapons to Mexican firearm traffickers.

PROJECT GUNWALKER - PR FACTORIES ON THE JOB

Noticed another one of those unusual hits in the logs just a bit ago on this post.

Notice it is out of Alexandria, Virginia and the referring URL is this and that it had been E-mailed to the viewer via belong2.com. Notice when you hit that link it shows that the mail server is also used by the BlackRock Group. You can find more information about them here.

So, it seems, pants are brown streaked and specialized PR Software is now in play.

Pay heed to your logs- they reveal quite a bit of information.

WP

ADDENDUM 15:35

David Codrea kindly linked to this post and jon commented the following:
the log doesn't necessarily suggest anything about an email. the host/ip fields mean that that is the client machine making the request to the webserver.

now it is extremely uncommon for a mail server to up and make an HTTP request while providing a "firefox" user-agent. suspicious, yes.

it is even more uncommon for a mail server to be running windows xp. doubly suspicious, yes.
He commented further and made me realize that some may think that the TinyURL links might possibly be nefarious. The links I provided in my post are not.

Further, I posted the following at WoG's to clarify what those TinyURL's are:
jon,

The TinyURL's were created by me due to the fact that Blogger would not take the long ixquick proxy URL's. I used ixquick to find out who and what vocuspr is and that is the PRSoftware firm. Further, I used ixquick to find out what belong2 DOT com is too. From that search, I found a robotex page showing that the Black Rock Group is on the same E-mail server as belong2.

Each TinyURL is listed below:

1. ixquick proxy Vocuspr
2. Robotex direct
3. ixquick proxy Black Rock
4. ixquick secure Wiki Entry on Black Rock

Whoever it was that came from Vocuspr received an E-mail suggesting my blog entry from yesterday. Vocuspr is a software that is for automated PR and had never heard of them until I noticed that unusual entry in the visitor logs.

I am going to add this to an addendum so there is no confusion.
The reason for the TinyURL's and the ixquick proxy is to deny them where YOU are coming from, not the other way around. For those that do not know what the ixquick search engine is or what TinyURL does, go here and there respectively.

This should clarify any confusion, if not, post a comment and I will reply.

ADDENDUM II 18:30

Gee SwansonRussel, nearly three hours here! And you being a PR firm too!

No, I won't post the screen grab- not today anyway, but interesting Outdoor Client list that you have, but then again you also have other areas too, right?

I wonder whose E-mails it was that brought those Federal, then Military Network Boys (DoD, Navy Network Information Center, Army AIS, and NATO saclant (amongst others) to visit me today? How about Blackwaters?

Just who was it, I wonder? And so many of you using Google Reader to proxy!

Too many of these visits today, not coming from the regulars or David's kind referral- all from either NO REFERRAL or via Google Reader screams an E-mailed link. Heck, many show that you came from E-mail so I ask, is this how you deal with postings about government crime? Seek out the citizens OPINIONS? To stop by for a simple visit during official working hours? Dig into we citizens? Yes, of course it is but I have this to say, Fuck You! I will post my thoughts and make sure, like so often before, that others have my logs.

If this posting has drawn THIS MUCH government attention, then I must be have been correct when I said: "...pants are brown streaked and specialized PR Software is now in play."

The only thing is, you did not think we would ever figure this crap out, did you?

DOJ Web Search: Did U.S. agency smuggle guns to Mexico to justify its budget

First it was DHS spending lots of time here (more than a day), now it is the DOJ and they are ripping this blog.

For those that do not know what "Rippers" in the Browser type setting in the image, it is any number of different tools used to rip an exact copy of a site. I have seen it before (many times) and in fact the US Navy NNIC, on the West Coast, visited just yesterday, early in the morning, and the browser was Rippers then too, but they only spent about six minutes and their referral was from another blog that I link to and figured it was a bored Seaman and why I am not showing the screen grab.

Now, someone at DOJ is either shocked, dismayed, ignorant, or just plain- well, I won't be insulting since they actually used both Yahoo and Google using two different search terms, but, as I told DHS on February 9th, DOJ- go catch some criminals! You already have had David Codrea, Mike Vanderbough and CleanUpATF.org do much of the heavy lifting. But, if that is not enough, go ask Senator Grassley and CBS for their notes on the "Killer Management" of ATF.

WP

CBS aired 3rd report on Project Gunwalker tonight!

Go watch here and read it here.

They point out and verify what has been known for quite sometime- the BP stuck Agent Brian Terry with beanbag rounds to face down the threats on the border.

HEY! The rest of the media in Texas and along the border- WAKE UP! I am tired of the Muslim Kenyan and his minions blaming us for Mexico's problems and the ATF's "Killer Management". Tell us again how long you let Phoenix's "Project Gunwalker" go on?

And you expect us to believe you about the recent "bust" in Dallas?

Project Gunwalker and media awareness.

I was just told that the morning talk show host on 710 KURV, which is in McAllen, Texas (the lower RGV), specifically told his listeners to Google "Project Gunwalker". Very good to hear, now lets see if the media folks in the rest of Texas, and specifically the along the border areas, will do so as well.

BREAKING NEWS: CBS to air 2nd Gunwalker piece tonight plus Grassley writes Holder again

Great news!
CBS News to air 2nd 'Project Gunwalker' segment and Grassley writes Holder again

But the agents who objected within their own agency were repeatedly rebuffed, they were told to keep their mouths shut, to stop complaining about it, in one case we have an internal email that describes a supervisor telling somebody 'If you don't like it you can go work for the Maricopa County Jail—if this isnt fun to you then you can go find something else to do.'
Spread the news far and wide as those elected need to understand that what they are finally doing is the right and proper thing. Do not let up and do not forget to call and thank them as such a simple thing goes a long way.

Senate Bill Would Make Leaks a Felony

Senate Bill Would Make Leaks a Felony

February 17th, 2011 by Steven Aftergood

Legislation introduced in the Senate this week would broadly criminalize leaks of classified information. The bill (S. 355) sponsored by Sen. Benjamin Cardin (D-MD) would make it a felony for a government employee or contractor who has authorized access to classified information to disclose such information to an unauthorized person in violation of his or her nondisclosure agreement.

Under existing law, criminal penalties apply only to the unauthorized disclosure of a handful of specified categories of classified information (in non-espionage cases). These categories include codes, cryptography, communications intelligence, identities of covert agents, and nuclear weapons design information. The new bill would amend the espionage statutes to extend such penalties to the unauthorized disclosure of any classified information.

(Another pending bill, known as the SHIELD Act, would specifically criminalize disclosure — and publication — of information concerning human intelligence activities and source identities. Both bills were originally introduced at the end of the last Congress, and were reintroduced this month.)

"I am convinced that changes in technology and society, combined with statutory and judicial changes to the law, have rendered some aspects of our espionage laws less effective than they need to be to protect the national security," said Sen. Cardin. "I also believe that we need to enhance our ability to prosecute... those who make unauthorized disclosures of classified information."

"We don't need an Official State Secrets Act, and we must be careful not to chill protected First Amendment activities," he said. "We do, however, need to do a better job of preventing unauthorized disclosures of classified information that can harm the United States, and at the same time we need to ensure that public debates continue to take place on important national security and foreign policy issues."
You mean protected secrets like Project Gunwalker you statist tool? Are so afraid of the truth that such is shining the light on?

DHS Web Search: ATF ARIZONA GUN STORE LINKED TO BP AGENT DEATH

Had a chance to check stats this morning and found the following:

Note the visit is spread over more than one day. StatCounter only reads this way when the visit length is over 24 hours and this says quite a bit- they are very nervous about the release of information of Project Gunwalker if some DHS drone, lawyer or hatchet spends 24+ hours on this blog.

Did U.S. agency smuggle guns to Mexico to justify its budget?

Did U.S. agency smuggle guns to Mexico to justify its budget?

KNOX REPORT

The death of a U.S. Border Patrol agent north of Nogales, Ariz., on December 14, 2010 might turn out to be the death knell for the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, or ATF.

Allegations have surfaced suggesting that one of the guns used by Mexican bandits during the firefight in which Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was killed might have been smuggled into Mexico with the knowing assistance of ATF officials. If these allegations prove to be true, it is quite possible that the long troubled agency could be dismantled. Even if there proves to be no connection with Agent Terry's death, the scrutiny generated by an investigation could crash the agency.

There are actually four separate but connected accusations against ATF officials: First, that they intentionally arranged to have hundreds of firearms "walked" across the U.S. border into Mexico. Second, that they instructed U.S. gun dealers to proceed with questionable and illegal sales of firearms to suspected gunrunners. Third, that they intentionally withheld information about U.S.-sanctioned gun smuggling from the Mexican government. Fourth, that one of the guns ATF allowed or helped to be smuggled into Mexico was involved in the death of Agent Terry.
As Codrea said: "We have liftoff."

The shadow war for the truth. "Management culture of ATF holds no regard for the life and/or safety of front line agents." STAND DOWN THE ATF!

From Sipsey Street:
Shadow war.

When I wrote the post below -- "Yogi Berra was right. Rumor of a big, bad ATF bust early next week." -- around midnight last night, I was acutely aware of the slippery ground upon which this shadow war for the truth of Operation Gunwalker and the death of Border Patrol agent Brian Terry is being fought.

Rumors can be -- and often are -- floated like dye in the sewer, just to see where it goes to close down leaks. Given the high stakes of the games being played behind the scenes by the White House and their Justice Department minions desperate to stop the truth from coming out, this is certainly a concern. But when a rumor -- any rumor -- comes from multiple sources, sources which have always been right in the past, sources who do not know each other, it is less likely to be disinformation dye and more likely to be the real turd.
Expect stupidity, incompetence and lies from F-Troop as they got their own killed before and I expect the same in the future.

Though, what amazes me the most, is why the Border Patrol Agents Union is not screaming louder for answers because this relates directly to the murder of BP Agent Brian Terry.

Luna said, yes it is legal to buy and sell these items, but why does one person need 50 ballistic helmets, over 600 rounds of ammunition, and 24 pairs of tactical boots.

"It serves no purpose of someone owning all of this if you're just going to have them at the house," said Luna.

Luna said he has heard it all----he said for those who say this person might have bought these items wholesale and are going to sell them at the flea market---he doesn’t buy it.

"This person was going to possibly be exporting them to Mexico," said Luna.
So Katie and Sergeant Rudy Luna, what happened to your assertion yesterday that:
"Police told Action 4 News to buy these items a person has to have a special license and the man in possession of these items did not."
Oh, so now the well fed Sergeant Rudy Luna states they should be and no one needs this? Tell us Sergeant Rudy Luna, just where in the Constitution does it say our servants get to tell the citizen what he needs or doesn't need? Or you Katie, asking someone who does not speak a word of English (though you have the text on your site transcribed instead of in Spanish as in the video) which creates doubt as to his citizenship, why his opinion matters? You see Katie, that man, is seemingly Mexican and everyone knows in Mexico, you cannot own a gun without government approval which makes it damnably easy for them to control and dictate to its subjects what THEIR needs are.

Continue to try to justify your well fed existence Sergeant Rudy Luna and keep promoting the War On Some Drugs- however, we know what you spout, "Only One", is a lie. Are you really happy wiping your well fed ass with the Constitution and Bill of Rights?

Is 'Project Gunwalker' about to bust wide open?
David Codrea

We've recently discussed what I call "Project Gunwalker." That title is a parody of the "Project Gunrunner" name the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has assigned to its southwest border initiative on U.S. guns going to the Mexican drug criminals, and refers to sourced information that the bureau has intentionally—and importantly, criminally, and with management cognizance—allowed guns to be transported across the border while keeping Mexican authorities in the dark.

We also touched on allegations regarding the gun used in the recent killing of a Border Patrol agent, and established some key questions for investigators to follow up on.

Suspects in agent shooting indicted, but not for murder

Reporter: Steve Nunez

Web Producer: David Rush

TUCSON (KGUN9-TV) All four suspects arrested following the shooting death of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry were indicted on felony immigration charges. According to an attorney representing one of the suspects, the four were charged with illegal re-entry and other misdemeanor immigration charges.

Leslie Bowman told KGUN9 News, she has no information on any charges related to the killing of Brian Terry.

Border bandits gunned down Terry near Rio Rico on December 14. Shortly after, agents arrested the four suspects near the shooting. They were appointed lawyers through the Federal Public Attorney's Office.
WTF!

Then, are you charging the head of the Phoenix BATF office for it? Or, those in DC who allowed them to walk those 500 AR-15 type rifles into Mexico?

Tell us Leslie Bowman, are you!?!
