WSRA - 2012 Election: Sí se puede

Via WRSA:
The new rules were quietly announced Friday with a new memo from top officials at the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. The "prosecutorial discretion" memo says officials need not enforce immigration laws if illegal immigrants are enrolled in an education center or if their relatives have volunteered for the US military.
Of course "La Raza" likes this- it works towards the goal of Reconquista and much more DETAILED information on this subject can be found here and here.

Understand, this desire is not viewed by all Americans of Mexican descent (no, there is no such race named Hispanics or hyphenated Americans [hyphenation is just a way to divide us]) or even by all Mexicans but like always, it just takes a small percentage (Threepers anyone?) to accomplish such goals and the States along the Southern border of the Republic has seen this happen for the past forty-years which has expanded to nearly all States across the Republic. Most of you have no idea but are slowly becoming aware of the pervasiveness of this. Spend some time reading the links included and the links at those sites. A number of the links may be dead, and if so, use your favorite search engine for further research.

Mexico Raises More Infantry

Mexico Raises More Infantry

October 19, 2010: The Mexican Army, after four years of heavy action fighting drug gangs in the north, is expanding their combat forces by 18 battalions. The army currently has 80 combat battalions. These include 18 battalions in six combat brigades, nine special operations battalions, three parachute battalions and a Presidential Guard brigade. There are also about 50 infantry battalions, mainly used as garrison troops for the military regions.
I wonder if they will recruit from the prisons like the cartels do...

Of course, absolutely nothing to do with the investigation...

Sixteen Illegal Indians Today

Today, September 21, 2010, sixteen illegal Sub-Continent Indians were released by ICE- captured by Border Patrol about twenty (20) days ago. Immediately at arraignment, a lawyer produced bond for everyone of them- each already highly coached on the correct answers that gets them bonded and released. They were held for twenty days (20), bonded and then released under their own recognizance. Why you ask? The Muslim Kenyan wants it so and says they are SUPPOSEDLY NO THREAT!

How many will actually show up for court hearing? Damn good question! I bet if we ask the Wetback Aunt Zeituni, she will say it does not matter because, "If I come as an immigrant, you have the obligation to make me a citizen."

Just remember folks, these are your stolen monies that are used against you to destroy the Republic. Expanded Border Patrol? BULLSHIT! Woefully undermanned and now the order comes down to cut overtime pay fifteen (15%) percent! Cut costs by sending out one vehicle staffed by two agents! Cut the amounts of ammo provided for practice and jail your agents when they do their jobs! If you do not send them to jail, then demoralize them by releasing those caught and told not to go after them as they really are good people and who we wants as citizens! What a really great way to make sure the border is secure you lying Muslim Kenyan and every one you Rat-Bastards, such as Nancy "Bring-Em In" Pelosi, Harry "DREAM ACT" Reid, Janet Napolitaco, Juan McAmnesty, Lindsay Grahmnesty! Everyone of you elitist Sons of Bitches who care not one whit- as it really is just a piece of paper, right GW!?!

Illegals are only one aspect as they come for the gravy train of benefits, not just for them, but the industries that are built around supporting and to expand all of this crap. END these programs, such as welfare, food stamps, "Free" Emergency Room Care, Education- both K-12 & In-State College Tuition, WIC- ALL OF THE SOCIALIST THEFT NOW! None of it is Constitutional, NONE! Farm Subsidies, College Loans, Pell Grants! The list goes on an on!

END ALL OF THE SOCIALIST THEFT NOW!

Report: US must deal with domestic radical problem

By LOLITA C. BALDOR
Associated Press
Published: Friday, September 10, 2010 8:54 AM CDT

WASHINGTON — The U.S. was slow to take seriously the threat posed by homegrown radicals and the government has failed to put systems in place to deal with the growing phenomenon, according to a new report compiled by the former heads of the Sept. 11 Commission.

The report says U.S. authorities failed to realize that Somali-American youths traveling from Minnesota to Mogadishu in 2008 to join extremists was not an isolated issue. Instead, the movement was one among several instances of a broader, more diverse threat that has surfaced across the country.

"Our long-held belief that homegrown terrorism couldn't happen here has thus created a situation where we are today stumbling blindly through the legal, operational and organizational minefield of countering terrorist radicalization and recruitment occurring in the United States," said the report, which was obtained by The Associated Press.

As a result, there is still no federal agency specifically charged with identifying radicalization or working to prevent terrorist recruitment of U.S. citizens and residents, said the report, slated to be released Friday by the Washington-based Bipartisan Policy Center's National Security Preparedness Group.

City officials confirmed an armed confrontation and an "emergency situation" around 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Degollado and Venezuela, two blocks from an elementary school in Nuevo Laredo.

The Mexican Army was involved in the shooting, and there was no confirmation on whether anyone was injured or deceased.

Soldiers cordoned off the area by Pedro J. Méndez and Venezuela, a block east of Degollado, and Lincoln and Degollado streets were also closed after Perú and Comonfort.

Market daze: Mexican buyers among few bright spots in home sales
September 10, 2010 9:42 AM
By STEVE CLARK, The Brownsville Herald

Being a Realtor isn't as fun as it used to be, thanks to a housing market that's barely showing signs of life.

The first-time homebuyers tax credit provided a temporary lift, though home sales have plummeted again now that the program is essentially over.

One of the few glimmers of good news in the Brownsville housing market is the result of bad news south of the border, as increasing numbers of Mexican nationals purchase residences here to escape escalating violence at home.

Keith Cummins of Prudential Cummins & Balli Realtors said the evidence, while anecdotal, points to more Mexican families buying homes in and around Brownsville.

"We had a family locating here from Tampico," Cummins said. "These people were talking about a lot of others who were to follow them. Of course that makes a real estate agent's eyes light up. The talk on the street is that, yes, people from Mexico are looking for a place to refuge. I believe it to be true."

Local, state officials tout colonia redevelopment
September 09, 2010 9:35 PM
By STEVE CLARK, The Brownsville Herald

No doubt Juan Carreon was eager to get back into the air conditioning of his new Cameron Park home, since being outdoors late Wednesday afternoon was like being wrapped in a hot, wet blanket.

But he had guests to entertain, lots of them, in his driveway. Carreon was gracious enough to host state Sen. Eddie Lucio Jr., officials with the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs and the Community Development Corporation of Brownsville, and several others who were present for the occasion, meant to demonstrate the impact on real people of housing programs administered by TDHCA and CDCB help.

Carreon's Nannette Avenue home was torn down and a new one built in its place thanks to a program available through the Colonia Self-Help Center, founded and operated by the CDCB to serve four colonias in Cameron County and one in Willacy County.

Harlingen outside guidelines for free lunch
September 07, 2010 5:00 AM
By JACQUELINE ARMENDARI/Valley Mornning Star

HARLINGEN — The Harlingen school district remains outside a federal guideline that allows schools to provide free lunch to all students, despite increasing enrollment in the district's free and reduced-price lunch program.

Based on last school year's free-lunch enrollment and participation figures, district staff said it is not financially feasible to provide free lunches to all students.

Provision 2 of U.S. Department of Agriculture guidelines requires schools to pay the difference between federal reimbursement and the cost of providing free meals.

About 78 percent of HCISD students now receive free or reduced-priced school lunches, district officials said. Providing lunches for the remaining 22 percent could cost the district more than it would be reimbursed under Provision 2 of the National School Lunch Act.

But some parents say that if other Rio Grande Valley districts can provide free lunches to students, Harlingen CISD should do so.

VIA goes high tech with new guidance system
September 10, 2010 5:00 AM
By JACQUELINE ARMENDARIZ/Valley Morning Star

HARLINGEN — Valley International Airport is a step ahead of other airports in the nation, as it is projected to complete the preliminary test phase of a Federal Aviation Administration program expected to reduce costs and provide precision flight guidance for the nation's airports in the future.

The program is set to transition airports to satellite-based navigation systems to use GPS, instead of the radio equipment many airports now use, as well as electronically map airport layouts.

VIA is "hoping" to finish the program as early as November, Michael Browning, VIA director of aviation, said. The airport is one of seven in the southwest region chosen by the FAA to participate in the A-GIS/eALP pilot program which began in September 2009.

Other airports include Dallas/Fort Worth International, Louis Armstrong New Orleans International and Will Rogers World in Oklahoma City.

Browning said the FAA has paid 95 percent of the program's cost, while the airport paid the remainder, totaling about $500,000.

VIA was chosen for several reasons, Lynn Lunsford, spokesman for the FAA southwest region, said.

"One (reason) was that the people in Harlingen were prepared and VIA is known for having a professional staff," Lunsford said. "They had their act together."

(Lynn, could it also be because VIA is in Harlingen, Texas which is a perfect juncture for flights by Border Patrol along with both US and Mexican Military aircraft into Mexico?)

Indicted Ysleta school board trustee Linda Chavez will resign her post.

District officials today called a special meeting for 6 p.m. Monday with only two items on the agenda.

The first one is the consideration of the resignation of an unnamed trustee. The second one will allow the trustees to decide how to fill an expected vacancy for the Del Valle seat on the board - the position that Chavez now holds.

Chavez, who is on the first year of her third three-year term, was arrested last week on suspicion of accepting money from Access HealthSource in exchange for her vote on a multi-million dollar contract.

She, along with 10 other people arrested last week, pleaded not guilty in federal court on Thursday. She faces up to 20 years in prison.

The border for dummies

The border for dummies

National Post
Published: Wednesday, April 22, 2009

Can someone please tell us how U. S. Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano got her job? She appears to be about as knowledgeable about border issues as a late-night radio call-in yahoo.

In an interview broadcast Monday on the CBC, Ms. Napolitano attempted to justify her call for stricter border security on the premise that "suspected or known terrorists" have entered the U. S. across the Canadian border, including the perpetrators of the 9/11 attack.

All the 9/11 terrorists, of course, entered the United States directly from overseas. The notion that some arrived via Canada is a myth that briefly popped up in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, and was then quickly debunked.

Informed of her error, Ms. Napolitano blustered: "I can't talk to that. I can talk about the future. And here's the future. The future is we have borders."

Just what does that mean, exactly?
Dear National Post (since there is no By-Line),

We in the united States would like an honest answer to both your questions but do not think we will ever receive honest answers.

However, I will try to answer, as many of us firmly think she was hired by the Kenyan Muslim because of the following:
  • She is a Democrat
  • She is a Woman
  • She seemingly hates Herself
  • She seemingly hates the united States
  • She seemingly hates our shared English history and Culture
As for what it means, many of us firmly think she & the Kenyan Muslim are attempting to mitigate the facts that:
  • Mexico wants our borders erased
  • Mexico wants the Southern US because we kicked it's ass and then paid for the land
  • Mexican MIGRATION, not IMMIGRATION is part of the plan to do so
  • She seemingly hates Herself
  • She seemingly hates the united States
  • She seemingly hates our shared English history and Culture
I hope this helps clear things up.

From three years ago.

A friend of mine with BP sent this to me last night:

The video is actually from three years ago, is on YouTube, and can be read about here from KATU and searching Google here.

When looking into this, I found the following via the portland independent media center (their exact spelling- not mine):
Anti-Immigrant Leader Wants Oregon to Burn
author: morojudio Leader of notorious anti-immigrant group in California wants Oregon to burn because of Latino firefighters
Barbara Coe to Oregon: "Burn, Baby, Burn"
Posted by Gustavo Arellano in Illegals, Illegals, Illegals!

It's easy to dismiss California Coalition for Immigration Reform president Barbara Coe as an anachronism, as a relic from the days when Mexicans and whites didn't go to school together and lippy minorities got lynched. But maybe there's something to that. Maybe Barbara Coe lives in a time warp, kind of like a Lost episode. Or maybe those cigarettes she chain-smokes have finally wrapped its nicotine around the area that governs one's sense of time.

Let me explain. Last week, Coe sent the following video to her minions:

This clip was originally aired in 2006, yet Coe treats it as a new development. "Expert AMERICAN firefighters laid off or demoted in Oregon because they do not speak Spanish, the language of the ILLEGAL ALIEN workers?" she wrote (as always, the caps are Babs'). "Since Oregon so hates AMERICAN firefighters, 'Have a nice life' while you 'Burn, Baby, Burn'."

Except...the story is bullshit. Last year, the Oregon Department of Forestry put out this bulletin to try and stop this urban legend for good. Of course, Babs treats facts like she does the idea that cigarette smoking is bad.
"Except", there was one problem with Gustavo's post (besides his derisive scorn of her being a smoker), there was NO link to the Oregon Department of Forestry's bulletin. So time to dig a bit further and this is what I found:
Language requirements

English is the language of wildland firefighting. It is the national standard. It is spoken in briefings and on two-way radios, and is the language of operating plans, reports and other documents.

Hispanic and Native American contract crews have operated in the west with bilingual leadership since the 1960s.

The number of Hispanic crews in the Northwest has increased markedly in recent years. A count of Spanish surnames on crew rosters suggests that about 85 percent of current contract firefighters are of Hispanic descent. This rough estimate doesn't indicate how many crew members speak English.

There is no contract requirement that supervisors on contract crews speak any language other than English. There is a requirement that supervisors be able to communicate with the workers for whom they are responsible. This is essential to ensure that all personnel are made aware of safety hazards that can develop quickly in firefighting.

Consequently, if private companies elect to hire crew members who do not speak English, those supervisors must be bilingual or multilingual.

Clackamas Community College in cooperation with ODF has developed a standardized language evaluation process to assure that crew supervisors of non-English speaking crews have adequate English language skills (reading and speaking) to operate safely and effectively in the all English language fire management environment.

The test will also assure they are able to translate important fire operations and fire safety information to their non-English speaking crewmembers.

This language skill assessment has been used to test 80 contract crew leaders this spring, with 40 more to be tested in July. The assessment will become a required element in contracts in 2007.

Clackamas Community College offers English language classes to those who do not pass the language test.

Public agencies have not found it necessary to require all frontline crew members to speak English. Bilingual supervision has proved successful in ensuring adequate crew safety and performance.

Due to the nature of the work, English proficiency is required for direct employment by ODF.

No ODF employees have been fired or demoted because of any language requirement; there is no requirement other than English proficiency for agency employees.
The entire bulletin can be read at the link above, but there is one more part of that bulletin that I wish to point out:
Recent rapid improvements
Progress includes:
  • Adding staff at ODF to more closely monitor firefighting contracts.
  • Refining standards, and sanctioning or disqualifying individuals and companies that do not meet them
  • Phasing in during the 2006 fire season of an interagency “best value” system. Bidding companies are ranked based on a set of criteria, including pricing and past performance, and contracts and dispatches to fires are given accordingly.
  • Increased partnership with industry groups and with state and federal agencies, including the state Bureau of Labor and Industries, OR-OSHA, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Read those points once again and pay close attention to the VERY last one. Why do they NEED to have an "Increase partnership..." with the "...U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement."? Does anyone think for a moment that there were NOT American firefighters who did not loose their jobs? Do I have proof, not in the least at this moment, but do know what bureaucratic double-speak is when I read it.

If anyone has any more information on this please pass it along.

The Kenyan & Holder

This certainly shows quite a bit of the strategy he is using to ATTEMPT or disarm the Republic of These united States, and what that Grackle reported to me last night:

Newbius had this to say (found via David Codrea):
And so the assault on the 2nd Amendment begins...

Eric Holder, under the smokescreen of a presser about the bust of the Sinaloan drug cartel and seizure of property, announced that the Obama Administration intends to re-institute the Clinton Gun Bans.

This isn't really news, as this had been a part of the Democratic Party Platform (page 48, if you care to look it up). and was also listed on the White House website. What is news is that it was stated openly by a member of the Obama team in a news conference.
AND
Follow up point: How is it logical that the United States Attorney General is able to use the Mexican Government's inability to control crime in their country as justification for infringing on the rights of Americans?

I fail to see the connection...

Perhaps instead we should ARM every Mexican and let them settle their own dispute in whatever way seems best to them and Leave Americans the Hell Alone!

Then, we have that FAILED STATES AG trying to tell Texas and These united States how to deploy our military:
Mexico attorney general: We don't need U.S. troops to intervene in drug war
08:16 AM CST on Wednesday, February 25, 2009

By TODD J. GILLMAN / Washington Bureau
tgillman@dallasnews.com

WASHINGTON — Mexico's attorney general said Tuesday he sees no need for U.S. troops to intervene in his country's war on drug cartels, nor to gear up for a spillover of violence across the border.

"I don’t see that," Attorney General Eduardo Medina-Mora said in an interview with The Dallas Morning News. "I don't see the U.S. military playing an active role. The size of the problem on the U.S. side is not calling for that, and certainly Mexico has enough institutional capabilities to deal with this."

U.S. officials view the violence as a potential national security threat, and last month the Bush administration's homeland security chief, Michael Chertoff, said Washington has drawn up contingency plans for a "surge" of both civilian law enforcement and military assets along the border.

Texas also has developed a contingency plan to cope with spillover violence. On Tuesday, Gov. Rick Perry demanded a tighter security net from Washington, saying he’s asked the Obama administration for more aircraft and “a thousand more troops” to the border.

"I don’t care whether they're military troops, or they're National Guard troops or whether they're customs agents," he said during a visit to El Paso with retired Gen. Barry McCaffrey, the former U.S. drug czar who warned two months ago that Mexico could soon become a "narco state."
Yes FAILED STATE we have plans, troops will be deployed and WE DO remember the years 1836, 1847, and so many others. If you think this will get you El Norte, you got another thing coming and have only this to say, get your shit together, or we will- this is TEXAS you sonsofbitches and you know how we fight.

Oh, and as for the Kenyan and Holder- just ask them how we do, and if you think it will be just Texas, and using your count, you have 56 other States to deal with too.

War in South Texas II

From the article:

CNN

(CNN) -- A shootout in a border city that leaves five alleged drug traffickers sprawled dead on the street and seven police wounded. A police chief and his bodyguards gunned down outside his house in another border city. Four bridges into the United States shut down by protesters who want the military out of their towns and who officials say are backed by narcotraffickers.

That was Mexico on Tuesday.

What is most remarkable is that it was not much different from Monday or Sunday or any day in the past few years.
Now, watch and listen again to the CNN video and then the next two via YouTube. Hear that? Full auto consistently and then remember that Mexico says that this is bought at American Gun Shows and the US Government works this angle via the ATF to disarm American Citizens.

War in South Texas

Over the past few weeks, things have become very, very uneasy according to a good friend of mine down along the border who told me how the bridges were closed along the Rio yesterday due to violence in Mexico, however, other things have been going on.

He made me aware of a grenade attack on a bar at the end of last month:
Grenade tossed into ‘Booty' bar fails to explode

PHARR - Tragedy was avoided after a grenade thrown into a tavern outside the city failed to explode.

Deputies do not know who tossed the explosive inside El Booty Lounge, 3701 N. "I" Road late Saturday night, said Hidalgo County Sheriff Lupe Treviño.

Authorities evacuated the bar after they received a call about the explosive, which was apparently tossed into the bar. No injuries were reported and bomb did not detonate because both pins were not removed, Treviño said.
Then, it was announced that the grenade was linked to recent attacks on a TV Station and consulate:

A live grenade tossed into a Pharr bar last month came from the same cache of weapons used in recent attacks on a Monterrey television station and that city's U.S. Consulate, law enforcement officials said.

Investigators have traced the explosives used in each incident to a lot manufactured in South Korea and later discovered in a stash house believed to be run by the Zetas, the heavily armed paramilitary wing of the Tamaulipas-based Gulf Cartel.
Two days later, the attack was then said to be between to rival gangs:
Pharr trio handed drug charges after raid fails to yield explosives

PHARR — Three men are behind bars after authorities raided their home Wednesday in a failed search for explosives linked to a grenade attack last month at a nearby bar.

Aldo Avendano, 27, Adrian Loredo, 20, and David Sanchez, 28, were all given felony drug charges Thursday afternoon in Pharr Municipal Court.

Several area law enforcement agencies raided the trio's Pharr residence at 1023 E. Bell St. on Wednesday, looking for explosives connected to a failed grenade attack Jan. 31 at El Booty Lounge on the 3700 block of North "I" Road.

The attack stemmed from a dispute between rival gangs the Tri-City Bombers and the Texas Chicano Brotherhood, authorities said.

Police could not confirm Thursday whether the three men arrested Wednesday were members of either gang, said Lt. Guadalupe Salinas, a Pharr police spokesman.

The grenade tossed into the Booty Lounge did not detonate.

Authorities did not find any explosives at the residence Wednesday. But they did seize about 24 pounds of marijuana, 3.8 grams of cocaine, and drug paraphernalia, as well as two shotguns and ammunition.
And yesterday, bridges along that section of the Texas/Mexico border were closed for a period of time due to violence:
Bloody Reynosa: At least five killed in street battle
Officials say violence and protests were not connected

The Monitor

REYNOSA — A violent street battle between suspected gangsters and Mexican soldiers killed at least five people Tuesday morning as separate protests against the military presence shut down parts of the city for several hours.

U.S. officials believe Hector Sauceda Gamboa, the suspected regional leader of the Gulf Cartel, was among the five gunmen Mexican authorities said were killed in the violence on the city's southwest side.

Mexican media accounts put the death toll as high as 20, with dozens more injured.

Sauceda, known as "El Karis," was shot during a fight with soldiers at his home in an affluent neighborhood behind the Plaza Real shopping center on Boulevard Hidalgo — one of the city's busiest streets, a U.S. federal official said.

Mexican officials would neither confirm nor deny he was killed, though the Mexican secretariat of public safety reported seven people had been detained. Authorities recovered a variety of weapons, including grenades, a 60 mm mortar and assorted small-arms ammunition.

The secretariat also reported seven federal police officers were injured — one of them seriously — during the fighting with gangsters armed with grenades and automatic rifles.

"We heard a lot of gunshots," screamed one child as he fled the Felipe Carrillo Puerto Primary School, holding his father's hand after the fighting had ended.
However, he did say that the local paper was not reporting fully in his opinion, more than likely due to wanting to keep this as quiet as possible as the economy along the border depends upon the Mexicans coming across to purchase goods. He said the San Antonio paper reported much more detail as did the Mexican News Papers and other media:
By Lynn Brezosky and Dudley Althaus - Hearst Newspapers

REYNOSA, Mexico — Running gunbattles between federal security officials and drug gang members left about a dozen people dead here Tuesday.

A statement from the Mexican government said seven security officers and five gunmen had been killed. However, witnesses said a pair of middle school students attempting to flee the violence also were killed.

One estimate said 15 people — all civilians caught in the crossfire — were wounded.

Neither the federal police nor the Defense Ministry immediately released information about what was behind the shootouts, but they largely were blamed on gangsters taking aim at federal security forces.

The gunfights came as northern Mexican protesters — angry about job losses, diesel fuel prices and military presence in their towns — caused the shutdown of international bridges along the border from Brownsville to Laredo for the third time in three weeks.
The protests, as many commented were more than likely paid by the Drug Dealers, and even if it were gangs fighting over turf in the grenade attack it is about money (of which the pool is shrinking) and it does not negate what occurred, across the Rio Grande or on sovereign Texas soil- war.

My friend said one other thing of note and he repeated to me a commenta client of his made quite recently:
"Even the drug dealers are having a hard time as the strippers are commenting on it too."
Look alive My Fellow Paranoids- it is coming closer every day.

UPDATE

See here for pics that he sent to me and are not sourced as he said he received them second hand from a friend of his too.

UPDATE II - CORRECTION

I was made aware that last Friday, the 13th, an incident occurred in Matamoros, which is just across the border from Brownsville, Texas. Brownsville, for those that do not know is here, and is about one hour Southeast of McAllen, Texas and you cannot get further South in Texas.

At around 9P last Friday, at the Soriana Supermarket in Matamoros, ten men wearing ski-masks jumped out of an Avalanche, that had Texas plates, carrying what appeared to be AK-47/AR-15's "TYPE" rifles and stopped a four-door sedan, pulled most of the occupants out, and left a driver and front passenger in the car. It seems three children were part of the group pulled out of the car and shot- the car was then shot up. One pistol armed man approached the car and pulled a woman from the front passenger seat and put her into the Avalanche- the masked men then took off North.

It is my understanding that this was witnessed by an off-duty BP agent who had been shopping there and received NO help from Mexican Authorities when he reported it.

I confirmed this with a very old and dear friend in Matamoros who also told me that the actual number killed AND wounded in Reynosa yesterday is around eighty (80). He was told this by a friend of his who is a government official in Reynosa.

Associated Press - January 8, 2009 6:54 PM ET

TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - It's official: Border Patrol agent Nicholas Corbett won't be tried again in an illegal immigrant's shooting death.

However, he still has to face a "civil" suit by the family of the wetback.

74% speak Spanish at home

"Spanish was my first language and it's the language that my parents speak, so I just use it when I'm there. I don't even think about it," said Mariana Solis, a registered nurse who grew up in the Lower Valley. "And although I speak English, I sometimes feel more comfortable speaking Spanish. It's like going back home."
AND
Dennis Bixler-Márquez, a University of Texas at El Paso professor of multicultural education and the director of the Chicana/o Studies Program there, said he was not surprised to hear the numbers released by the census.

"Border communities like El Paso, by virtue of their proximity to the home land, will continue to have tremendous linguistic renewal," he said. "People here, even those who have been in the country various generations, will retain their language much more than the Hispanic populations formed in the interior of the United States."
I do not care what one speaks in his home or even his business- his choice. However, the first minute he demands ANY PUBLIC or GOVERNMENT DOCUMENT be also printed in ANY other language he should be shunned and his business ruined.

Oh, and as for you traitorous-asshat Bixler-Márquez, if your HOMELAND is South of the Rio Grande- then get out of my country.
