Sebelius: Decrease in Human Beings Will Cover Cost of Contraception Mandate

Sebelius: Decrease in Human Beings Will Cover Cost of Contraception Mandate

By Fred Lucas
March 1, 2012

(CNSNews.com) – Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius told a House panel Thursday that a reduction in the number of human beings born in the United States will compensate employers and insurers for the cost of complying with the new HHS mandate that will require all health-care plans to cover sterilizations and all FDA-approved contraceptives, including those that cause abortions.

"The reduction in the number of pregnancies compensates for the cost of contraception," Sebelius said. She went on to say the estimated cost is "down not up."

AND

"Who pays for it? There's no such thing as a free service," Murphy asked.

Sebelius responded that that is not the case with insurance.

"The reduction in the number of pregnancies compensates for cost of contraception," Sebelius answered.

Murphy expressed surprise by the answer.

"So you are saying, by not having babies born, we are going to save money on health care?" Murphy asked.

Sebelius replied, "Providing contraception is a critical preventive health benefit for women and for their children."

Murphy again sought clarification.

"Not having babies born is a critical benefit. This is absolutely amazing to me. I yield back," he said.

Sebelius responded, "Family planning is a critical health benefit in this country, according to the Institute of Medicine."
Sure Bitch, Agenda 21 is the answer.

MVB states: The Dam Breaks. Oh, Gunwalker, where is thy sting?

The Dam Breaks. Oh, Gunwalker, where is thy sting? Melson and his popcorn. The meeting of Obama's Gunwalker capos & "a goin' jessie."

For those who have been paying attention, the Gunwalker conspirators' cover-up has been reduced to a tattered piece of underwear that wouldn't cover Weiner's little wiener.

First, the testimony of the ATF agents at the hearing today demonstrated that there was no "sting", thus there could not have been a "botched sting." What there was, it seems, was a program to encourage straw purchases and smuggling, but no "sting" by any known meaning of that word. Which begs the question, why? Issa, nettled by Cummings' complaints of a "political agenda" responded by asking if the entire purpose of allowing large numbers of weapons into Mexico didn't itself serve a political purpose? Meaning, of course, further restrictions on American firearm rights. Precisely.
Mike Vanderboegh and David Codrea truly deserve heaping praises for their tenacious grip since last December. It was they and the boys at CleanUp ATF that got the ball rolling and are closer and privy to much more information than I and why I want everyone to go read their posts, especially today's from MVB in regards to the Project Gunwalker hearings.

I watched over lunch to see so much fecklessness by certain representatives, Suckass and Lacy to name two, is angering and if you watch, you will understand my earlier post. Moreover, anymore I have nearly ZERO capacity for toleration of such- not just from politicians but those like Weasel Weich as well. However, I want to point out two things from this afternoons hearings- one was Blake Farenthold's suggestion about PRIVATE viewing of documents and then Issa's offer at the end of today's hearings about REDACTION. Remember everyone, they are POLITICIANS.

Very detailed information on the Muslim Kenyan's Hawaii confirmation in 2008

I was forwarded an E-mail with a very long document that had a link to the source of the information so I went to it and then found no link for the information but an acknowledgment to the Daily Pen which I easily found here.

OCON Docs: Hawaii Ballot Chief...Grandma, Called Obama To Hawaii In 2008
. UPDATED 1/13/11
New analysis of Democrat Party's official 2008 Certification of Nomination for Obama reveals that reasons for his sudden trip to Hawaii in October, 2008 was to visit more than just his sick grandmother. Hawaiian election laws and post-dated documents reveal he may have attended a hearing with Hawaiian Chief Elections Officer regarding his disqualification from ballot due to lack of certified Constitutional eligibility.

Honolulu, Hawaii - At the center of the war over Barack Obama’s illegitimacy as president are a series of deep seated, unanswered questions about the detailed involvement of several municipal employees and officials within the government of the State of Hawaii. From former governor, Linda Lingle’s convenient deniability to former Health Department director, Chiyome Fukino’s intentionally misleading statements about Obama’s vital records. From the blatant, dismissive ignorance of Hawaii’s legislature about the difference between "U.S. Citizenship" and "Natural-born citizenship", to the claims by a former Honolulu senior elections office clerk that the State of Hawaii does not possess an original, 1961 Certificate of Live Birth for Barack Obama, the State of Hawaii has emerged as the primary co-conspirator in keeping Obama’s identity a well kept secret from the American people.
I am reading many editorials and posts approving of the Muslim Kenyan's speech in Arizona and his "healing" of the nation and Madam Congressman Gabrielle Giffords. These editorials, posts and comments, especially this one, disgust me.
In one of the finer speeches of his career, Obama realized that, at this hour and in this tragedy, his country yearned to come together on the higher ground of grief for the fallen, celebration of those who behaved bravely and prayerful hope for the wounded.

By rising above "politics and point-scoring and partisanship" in Tucson, the president has recaptured some of the luster he had lost since that January two years ago.
Mr. Buchanan, he did no such thing! He had has speech turned into a political event before it started! This "speech" was nothing more than his kickoff for his 2012 BILLION DOLLAR spending to for his continued UNCONSTITUTIONAL election into the office he CANNOT CONSTITUTIONALLY HOLD!

These people can continue to approve of the Muslim Kenyan's actions, but you can see the truth for yourself. Barrack Hussein Obama, the Muslim Kenyan, used the eulogy of the dead for HIS purposes, and only his, which displayed his true sense of those that are dead and wounded and that sense is these people, our fellow citizens, are nothing.

Remember.

Fed To Remit A Record $78.4 Billion In Ponzi Cash To Treasury

Fed To Remit A Record $78.4 Billion In Ponzi Cash To Treasury

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 01/10/2011 13:43 -0500

After the Fed bought over $1 trillion of US Treasury bonds in the past 2 years, it is now reverse payback time, in which the Fed gives the Treasury just a little more cash. The FRB announced that per "unaudited" 2010 results (obviously), the Fed is provisioning to pay the Treasury $78.4 billion, a 50%+ increase from the $47 billion paid to the Treasury in 2009. What is the basis of this payment? Why the Fed's charter of course: "Under the Board's policy, the residual earnings of each Federal Reserve Bank, after providing for the costs of operations, payment of dividends, and the amount necessary to equate surplus with capital paid-in, are distributed to the U.S. Treasury." Which means that as the Fed buys up ever more Treasurys, and as rates continue their inexorable rise higher, the Fed will continue to receive interest payments from the US Treasury, which, at the end of every year, it will promptly remit back to whoever the current incarnation of Tim Geithner is, in essence nullifying the "checks and balances" impact of cash out interest expense on Treasury, and thus government, deficit decisions. In fact, the greater the amount of debt issued, and therefore monetized, the less the Treasury actually has to pay in interest. And in the meantime, the higher interest rates go, the greater the duration-adjusted loss on Fed holdings. But who cares about those: after all, results are all "unaudited" and the Fed will hold all securities to the earlier of "maturity" or default - as if anyone doubts which will happen first.
The following sums it up perfectly.

Credit cards and mortgages should work this way.

Why the Hell am I paying taxes for anything if the government gets paid to borow money? Why don't they just borrow even more money so they can make a bigger profit?

What a kick in the ass for a guy who works for a living. This is all so insulting, it is like Bernie Madoff telling you what he is really going to do with your money before you give it to him.

All too eerily reminiscent of pre-War diplomacy in the 1930s where small countries get all too easily fed to the sharks to allow the bigger countries to party on. Imagine the consequences of a "quasi-expulsion": doing business in such a place becomes a nightmare as a fog of uncertainty descends. Big political risks too.

Bottom line: any threat to globalism, any sign of strain on the frozen smile of governments threatens all other economies, particularly those that are in debt up to their eyeballs. If anybody in the green wall of silence starts to get grouchy, then there's a chance that all bets are off and the hourly recycling of the mountains of debt stops. And that, folks, is the 21st Century equivalent of The Bomb Paranoia of the late 20th Century.

When there's even the slightest hint of a soupcon of a chance that the global system could unravel, that triggers huge anxiety because all the big banks are broke, all the governments are in huge debt and all citizens are feeding on the teat of money printing to support the debt.

There's just not a lot of wiggle room left. Gold is clearly the favored safe haven because there's no telling which currency could blow up. Even those of creditor nations like Japan and Switzerland could get hurt if their trading partners and political cronies are in the soup. They'd have to face a brave new world alone.

And a weak 30 Yr Bond auction today isn't helping boost confidence in the debt system. Were are the troops when you need 'em?
Chuckling, just chuckling...

More Than $1 billion In Private-Sector Weapons Exports Approved For Mexico Since 2004

Mainstream media and Beltway pundits and politicians in recent months have unleashed a wave of panic in the nation linking the escalading violence in Mexico, and its projected spread into the U.S., to illegal weapons smuggling.

The smokescreen being spread by these official mouthpieces of manufactured consensus is that a host of criminal operators are engaging in straw (or fraudulent) gun purchases, making clandestine purchases at U.S. gun shows or otherwise assembling small caches of weapons here in the states in order to smuggle them south of the border to the “drug cartels.”

The Obama administration is now sending hundreds of additional federal agents to the border in an effort to interdict this illegal arms smuggling to reassure an agitated middle-America that Uncle Sam will get these bad guys. The cascade of headlines from mainstream media outlets printing drug-war pornography assures us in paragraphs inserted between the titillation that the ATF’s Operation Gunrunner and other similar get-tough on gun-seller programs will save America from the banditos of Mexico.
Now, here is the kicker:
According to an analysis of the DCS reports, some $1 billion in defense hardware was approved for export to Mexico via private U.S. companies between fiscal year 2004 and fiscal year 2007 — the most recent year for which data was available. Overall, during the same period, a total of some $3.7 billion in weapons and other military hardware was approved for export under the DCS program to all of Latin America and the Caribbean.

In addition to the military hardware exports approved for Mexico, some $3.8 billion in defense-related “services” [technical assistance and training via private U.S. contractors] also were approved for “export” to Mexico over the same four-year period, according to the DCS reports.

That means the total value of defense-related hardware and service exports by private U.S. companies to Mexico tallied nearly $5 billion over the four-year window. And that figure doesn’t even count the $700 million in assistance already authorized under the Merida Initiative [Plan Mexico] or any new DCS exports approved for fiscal years 2008 and 2009 [which ends Sept. 30].

A state representative says she wants to amend the state budget to prevent unemployed people from collecting food stamps if they have significant assets.

Rep. Shannon Jones, a Springboro Republican (biography), said today that she will introduce an amendment in response to a food-stamp flap in Warren County.

Officials there say they are angry that a woman who lost her job is eligible for food-stamp benefits even though she had $80,000 in a bank account, a home worth more than $300,000 and drives a Mercedes.
Excuse me? Did you say $80K in savings, a home worth $300K, drives a Mercedes and gets FOOD STAMPS!?!

You and I Can't Buy the Guns Mexican Cartels Own

You and I Can't Buy the Guns Mexican Cartels Own

The Administration is Not Dealing Straight With Us on Mexico's Gun Problem

Ralph Weller
March 1 2009

Let's set things straight right up front. Yes, some guns are being smuggled into Mexico from the U.S. Most are handguns. But, handguns are being illegally trafficked from state to state and from the U.S. to Canada. It should come as no surprise that guns are smuggled into Mexico. But, the problem being portrayed by the U.S. media and our government is not as it seems. You see, Mexico doesn't allow ownership of most firearms, so ordinary Mexican people seeking self-protection will find a way to get them into Mexico. As for the drug cartels operating in the border towns along the U.S., they have other sources for their weapons and have become the prime supplier within Mexico.

I worked in Mexico in a border town for about five years. It was far enough from San Diego County in the Sonora Desert of Mexico that commuting several hundred miles daily was impossible. So, for a few years I lived in the city and commuted home periodically on some weekends. As crime grew out of control, I eventually moved into a place on the U.S. side and commuted daily in and out of Mexico for my own safety.

I stayed in Mexico for a Mexican holiday my first year. I don't recall the holiday. Normally, I would leave Mexico for a holiday, but it was in the middle of the week and one day was not long enough to come home. All I know is that on that particular Mexican holiday, Mexicans love to fire guns into the air. That evening as I sat on the balcony of my hotel, the gun fire that erupted in celebration was quite unbelievable. It was so intense I backed off the balcony and watched the festivities from a couple three feet in the room. We're talking war-like firing of weapons, it was that intense.

As I listened that night to the gun fire, I was somewhat shocked at the amount of fully automatic gun fire. It wasn't sporadic. It was continuous throughout the city. For a country that bans guns I thought, how in the world did they get their hands on all these full-auto weapons? Clearly what sounded like M16 fire was prolific along with 7.62 x 39 AK autos with a smattering of smaller caliber full-autos, most likely 9mm. Gun fire can be heard in most American cities on New Years, but I've never heard full-auto weapons being fired, at least not in the San Diego area.

The next day I went into work and sat down with a trusted senior Mexican manager. I looked at him and said, "I thought guns were illegal in Mexico." He chuckled and said, "So you stayed in town last night?" As the conversation progressed, it became clear that guns are as common in Mexico as tamales at Christmas. Everyone he knows, including himself, own at least one gun. And, it matters not whether it's a semi-auto or fully automatic, they're all illegal, so why stop with semi-autos? Though clearly illegal in the states in most instances, a lot of Mexicans have more firepower in terms of military weapons than we can only dream of owning here.

Mr. Weller wrote this article nineteen days ago (click on the link and go read the rest of it) and he is correct- you can READILY buy your firearm of choice in Mexico, with the right connections and the right amount of cash as nearly every home in Mexico DOES have a weapon (not necessarily full-auto).

However, we Citizens of the Republic cannot purchase those full-auto's- unless we fill out groveling paperwork that will get us approval from the top "Law Enforcement Official" in our county of residence (that is if your State & local authorities allows such), fill out more paperwork along with $200.00 to the ferals, and pay an exorbitant mark-up on price in the Class III market due to the Hughes Amendment that was attached at nearly the last minute to the 1986 FOPA (Firearms Owners Protection Act) signed by Ronald Reagen (today marks 22 years and 10 months to the date).

Since that date, the Class III market has become a economic falsity due to the feral restrictions and this thread at the HighRoad.org demonstrates and explains it fairly straight forwardly and basically.

In fact, pricing on these weapons is not that hard to find as you can see here, here, here, here and here just for example. While looking at those prices, realize that the criminals in the Failed State of Mexico are paying quite a bit less.

Now, when you read Mr. Weller's article, the pabulum spouted in the press & MSM, and the hoplophobes on the WWW, you will have a better understanding of utter bullshit being espoused by the Kenyan and Mr. "Nation of Cowards" Holder.

Ark. doctor ordered held on weapons charges

By DANIEL SHEA
Associated Press Writer

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) -- A doctor charged with stockpiling more than $1 million worth of machine guns and grenades was ordered Tuesday to remain in custody pending his federal trial.

U.S. Magistrate H. David Young said he was unconvinced that Dr. Randeep Mann, 50, would remain in the country if allowed to go free on bond. Mann is a naturalized U.S. citizen originally from India.

Mann, of London, Ark., faces charges of possessing machine guns that weren't federally registered in his name and possessing explosives only permitted for military use. After city workers uncovered a canister of 98 grenades near Mann's property last week, federal agents searched his home on March 4 and found 110 fully automatic machine guns and grenades made to be launched from military rifles.

"There's no doubt substantial pressure on (Mann) to flee," Young said, noting that agents also found $50,000 in cash during the search.

In his ruling, Young told Mann that he didn't have "an accurate picture of your financial wherewithal, and you also have contacts outside the country that would make it much easier than for another individual for you to flee the country."

Authorities said Mann, an internal medicine specialist, has a permit from the federal government to sell registered machine guns. Agents testified that Mann had 110 machine guns, but at least four were not federally registered in his name, as is required under the National Firearms Act.

They also said he kept weapons around the house, including loaded pistols in the bedroom and machine guns on the floor and in closets and safes.

"If you were shot with it, the round would cut you in half," said David Oliver, a special agent for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, of a tripod-mounted sniper rifle found in Mann's house.
Hhmmphh!

The rich flee Mexico drug violence

Fearing for their lives, affluent seek asylum in Houston, other Texas cities
By JAMES PINKERTON
Copyright 2009 Houston Chronicle
March 9, 2009, 11:42AM

Mexican businessman Jorge Hernandez abruptly relocated his family to Houston last year, terrified that family members would be abducted by kidnappers.

He had ample reason to be afraid. He left in August, days after a father was kidnapped for ransom as he dropped his child off at the same school Hernandez's children attended in a north Mexico city.

"One night, I told my wife 'Pack the bags — we’re leaving,'" Hernandez said. "The fear we felt caused us to get in the car and drive for 12 hours to get to Houston."

The 43-year-old businessman joined a growing number of affluent and middle-class Mexicans fleeing comfortable lives in Mexico for the comparative safety of Houston and other major Texas cities. They are desperate to escape an unprecedented wave of lawlessness in their home country where warring drug cartels — whose fighting claimed more than 6,000 victims last year — have also taken up kidnapping as a lucrative business.
The article concludes:
'Huge brain drain'

Ricardo Ainslie, a professor at the University of Texas at Austin, has produced a documentary on Mexico's kidnapping industry. He said the kidnappings have motivated many of the nation's leading professionals to leave.

"In Mexico, there is a real anxiety about it because it's a huge brain drain. The money and talent is leaving Mexico in huge numbers to San Diego, San Antonio and Austin," Ainslie said.

Hernandez said he had to leave Mexico when he saw the drug gang battles in the streets and the police and military presence. But while the family was drawn to Houston because of the culture and educational opportunities for his wife and three children, it has been hard to transition.

"Your family suffers," Hernandez said. "But when you turn on the TV and listen to the news from Mexico, that’s when you say to yourself you made the right decision to leave."
As I post this, there are 550 comments and many are spot on. A repeated idea in the comments is something that I think as well. It is your country, we know your loyalty will always be to Mexico, yet you flee.

For how MANY years did those fleeing use the Mordida System to benefit your business and families? You allowed it flourish, it has overtaken your FAILED STATE and now you come to your neighbor for help.

I have no sympathy whatsoever about you or your family's hardships, quite simply- FIX YOUR OWN HOME!

"My son is dead. I want somebody to pay for this."

(02-20) 11:29 PST OAKLAND -- A 23-year-old visitor from the East Coast had just gotten money from an ATM when he told his friend on a cell phone that he had a bad feeling about two men approaching him at the Fruitvale BART Station in Oakland.

His worst fears were realized when one suspect, Victor Veliz, 18, held a folding knife with a 5-inch blade to his neck and the other, Christopher Gonzalez, 18, threatened to shoot him Thursday night, authorities said.

In a blind panic, he lashed out at his attackers, grabbing the knife from one of them and punching the other as his friend listened in horror on the phone.

Without realizing it, authorities say, the man stabbed Gonzalez in the chest. Gonzalez stumbled to his family's home around the corner, collapsed into his father's arms and died.

Veliz, who is affiliated with a gang, was arrested at Gonzalez's home after police allegedly found him with the East Coast visitor's cell phone. He will be charged with murder in the death of his accomplice, along with a robbery count, prosecutors said.
