The Arizona killings and shootings.

Six dead and fourteen wounded by an obviously insane 22-year old man- the Paranoid Family extends our deepest condolences.

Not much is known about him beyond his insanity, in fact, real weirdness is what we know due to his writings and YouTube videos, which is even weirder when we see that his page was subscribed to BY Gabrielle Giffords- BEFORE the shootings.

What we do know is those that dance in the blood of tragedies already have started- from John Boehner's classification of elected officials as GREATER than those who elected them to be servants:
"I am horrified by the senseless attack on Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and members of her staff. An attack on one who serves is an attack on all who serve. Acts and threats of violence against public officials have no place in our society. Our prayers are with Congresswoman Giffords, her staff, all who were injured, and their families. This is a sad day for our country."
Then of course, there is Rep. Carolyn McCarthy's continued blood reveling:
"My staff is working on looking at the different legislation fixes that we might be able to do and we might be able to introduce as early as tomorrow," McCarthy told POLITICO in a Sunday afternoon phone interview.
For those that do not recall HOW she was able to get herself elected I will point out that she did so, like some Banana-Republic hero, she "waved the blood soaked shirts" of her husband, who was murdered by the racist Colin Ferguson and her son who was severely wounded by Ferguson. She blamed an inanimate objects instead of the lunatic who did it. Of course, she has no problem with killing a child in a woman's womb, but that is different, isn't it?

And we have Rep. Robert Brady from Pennsylvania who wishes to wipe away the 1st Amendment:

"...reportedly plans to introduce legislation that would make it a federal crime to use language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening or inciting violence against a federal official or member of Congress."

Of course, he also wants the 2nd Amendment scrubbed too and like McCarthy, also is a strong supporter of killing a child in a woman's womb too.

Majority Leader Boehner, Representatives McCarthy and Brady your actions, proposed bills and statements are simply not true as our Republic was founded on such and to deny it is to DENY the very existence of the Republic and our founding documents. Then again, just when did any of you ever call for or put forth legislation that would have those involved in Ruby Ridge, Waco, or even last Wednesdays botched drug raid where Mr. Eurie Stamps, of Framingham, Massachusetts was killed by another one of those government employees, who each of you hold in higher esteem than the public that pays their salaries?

NEVER!

I do not condone those insane acts by Jared Loughner or any other lunatic, nor am I calling for people to do so. What I am pointing out is that you are supposed to be adults with the ability to think and examine all the facts- of which we have damn few. Instead, each of you are doing exactly what the Israeli, Rahm Emanuel, is so famously quoted for:

Go ahead do such, but I want to remind you of your calls to use this act for the destruction of the Republic is NOT what the Founders wanted or abiding by the oath, each of you swore:
A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks.

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
---Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759.
[The Constitution preserves] the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation...(where) the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.
---James Madison,The Federalist Papers, No. 46.
[W]hen the resolution of enslaving America was formed in Great Britain, the British Parliament was advised by an artful man, who was governor of Pennsylvania, to disarm the people; that it was the best and most effectual way to enslave them; but that they should not do it openly, but weaken them, and let them sink gradually...I ask, who are the militia? They consist of now of the whole people, except a few public officers. But I cannot say who will be the militia of the future day. If that paper on the table gets no alteration, the militia of the future day may not consist of all classes, high and low, and rich and poor...

Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the people's liberty teeth keystone... the rifle and the pistol are equally indispensable... more than 99% of them by their silence indicate that they are in safe and sane hands. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference. When firearms go, all goes, we need them every hour. Geroge Washington (Address to 1st session of Congress)
