Celente: CME Did Not Guarantee Oversight in MF Global Scandal

Celente: CME Did Not Guarantee Oversight in MF Global Scandal

Kurt Nimmo
Infowars.com
November 17, 2011

Bloomberg reports today that CME, the world’s largest futures exchange, may face liability in the MF Global scam that has bilked customers out of nearly a billion dollars.

Back on October 30, it was reported that CME noticed a shortfall in MF Global’s segregated client funds, but did not immediately report it to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the CME Group’s regulator.

CME oversees its futures-broker members such as MF Global under its authority as a self-regulatory organization and is required to report irregularities immediately.

CME’s behavior is especially suspect after $600 million fell in a back hole when it was placed in an account with Wall Street giant JP Morgan following the collapse of MF Global.

As we noted today, it is very suspicious that weeks prior to MF Global’s fall billionaire investors like the Koch brothers had the miraculous foresight to withdraw all their money, prompting accusations that big players got a ‘heads up’ in advance of the firm’s collapse.

Yup, keep blaming the Useful Idiots with OWS.

"It's ours, it's all ours, all of Backwardistan!"

Losing the Great Game in Afghanistan

by Devika Patel
September 16, 2011

Ten years ago, I watched the Twin Towers fall. A San Francisco Examiner headline the next day summed up my feelings fairly well: “Bastards!” Of course we had to fight back. I thought there’d be a bit of a scuffle, much like the first Gulf War, and we’d be done with the whole affair in a few weeks.

A decade later, do I ever feel silly. My eureka moment came around 2004, when I stumbled across a piece that had appeared in the French weekly Le Nouvel Observateur sometime in 1998, featuring former United States National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski. In Cheshire Cat fashion, Brzezinski explained that offering CIA aid to the mujahideen drew “the Russians into the Afghan trap,” where we armed the Taliban’s predecessors to the gills after Russia’s invasion. The unrepentant Brzezinski was delighted by his maneuver that gave Russia its own Vietnam War, bankrupting them and ending the Cold War.

But Brzezinski’s “agitated Muslims,” who flew planes into our towers, eventually proved far more troublesome than the Soviets who had been declining economically each day with or without their own Vietnam.
Drain52's reply, which I used for the subject stated things best.
A tangent here: have you ever wondered at how damn stupid empires can be? Why in God's name would anyone want to possess Afghanistan, or India, or any of the forsaken countries in central Asia? The British fought and died in order to get exactly what--Indian cotton, or Afghan opium? These things could have been purchased outright for much less than invading vast countries and maintaining armies.

I'm trying to grok the vision of some idiot Brit or Russky standing on a hillock in a wasteland who's yelling "It's ours, it's all ours, all of Backwardistan!"

And now we have moron Americans doing the same. Santayana
(Ed. Note: spelling- which he corrected with an immediate follow-up) wasn't right enough: he who doesn't learn from history will it have it crammed down his throat.
The LOVE of MONEY and CONTROL. It is this simple and why Smedley Butler so rightly stated in his book, War is a Racket.

(A thank you to Brock Townsend for his link in the comments.)

If anyone doubts that these are the words of Major General Smedley Butler then see his book here.

Understand, this is also a huge part of what has bankrupted the Republic, but you know this too- or should.

"The bank hath benefit of interest on all moneys which it creates out of nothing." William Paterson, founder of the Bank of England in 1694, then a privately owned bank

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and money system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning." Henry Ford, founder of the Ford Motor Company.

"When a government is dependent upon bankers for money, they and not the leaders of the government control the situation, since the hand that gives is above the hand that takes… Money has no motherland; financiers are without patriotism and without decency; their sole object is gain." – Napoleon Bonaparte, Emperor of France, 1815

It is not as if the banksters have screwed the World, is it?

"Let me issue and control a nation’s money and I care not who writes the laws." Mayer Amschel Rothschild (1744-1812), founder of the House of Rothschild.

Perry Updates: Democrats Spread Texas Gov Conspiracy Theories

Perry Updates: Democrats Spread Texas Gov Conspiracy Theories
by Tom McGregor
Mon, Jun 20, 2011, 08:50 PM

President Barack Obama has launched his $1 billion dollar re-election campaign for the White House, so he can finance creative methods to attack GOP presidential contenders. Accordingly, he’s spreading rumors that Texas Gov. Rick Perry is a so-called puppet of a leftist globalist community that is intent on one world government with the United Nations taking the reins of power. Obama is hoping these rumors can keep Tea Party members from supporting Perry if he receives the Republican nomination.

Here’s an example of an Obama-instigated conspiracy theory about Gov. Perry on the InfoWars.com website, “every indication suggests that Bilderberg-approved Texas Governor Rick Perry is set to become the frontrunner in the Republican race to challenge Barack Obama for the presidency, illustrating once again how a shady, secretive and undemocratic global elite holds the reigns of true power while Americans are distracted by the delusional notion that they have a genuine choice in 2012."
Mr. McGregor, what a load of crap. Perry did try to force MY daughters to use Gardisil, he did and still is PUSHING the Trans Texas
Corridor
, and he did attend the BILDERBERGS INVITATION ONLY EVENT:

Are EVERY, or even one of the above the Democrats and Muslim Kenyan's minions? How about your GUEST VIEWPOINT Columnist Paul D. Perry (a registered Republican who ran for Chair of the Republican Party of Texas in 2008), whose articles you consistently publish and which the latest calls into question the actions over HB1937? How about this article by Mr. Perry from 2007?
The governor must be impeached

February 4, 2007

Paul D. Perry, The Daily Light

The governor’s mandate of the HPV vaccine is indicative of a man who has lost touch with the citizens of our state.

As reported in DallasBlog.com, Merck’s Gardasil (HPV) vaccine already has been under fire nationally from the National Vaccine Information Center, which claims that “Merck’s clinical trials did not prove the human papillomavirus vaccine designed to prevent cervical cancer and genital warts is safe to give to young girls.” NVIC cites the trial studies as showing there were serious problems with adverse reaction to the shots: “Nearly 90 percent of Gardasil recipients ... followed-up for safety reported one or more adverse events within 15 days of vaccination, particularly at the injection site. Pain and swelling at injection occurred in approximately 83 percent of Gardasil” recipients. A majority of the young women who received Gardasil complained about “serious adverse events such as headache, gastroenteritis, appendicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, asthma, bronchospasm and arthritis,” according to NVIC.

This vaccine is very questionable and has not been in use long enough for there to be a comfort factor with many parents. What will it do to growing bodies long term? I am not opposed to vaccines in general, but the governor can count me as a one dissatisfied constituent on this one.

At best this move is irresponsible, at worst, it reeks of the odor of quid pro quo like some of the governor’s other moves. Why was the legislature circumvented by the executive in this case? The legislature had just now convened and had not had time to even visit the vaccine issue in full. A rational person should ask the question, just what was promised to the governor here?

Will big pharma dollars now back the governor’s future aspirations? A vice presidential nomination seems to be being talked about in Austin. The taxpayer- and property owner-hostile, foreign profiteer-backed Trans-Texas Corridor also comes to mind; Cintra-Zachary would no doubt love to keep the governor on the friends list. Why is it necessary to legislate away normal state and federal constitutional protections to build a road, Guv? It appears large interests can have all the friends they can afford, especially in Texas.

While the governor’s picked committee on appraisal reform came forward with a few decent suggestions concerning spending limitation, the overall report was at best anemic. They did not address the imbalances in the appeal process, for instance. In meetings all over the state I hear taxpayers suggest moving lesser dollar appeals to the JP courts. The governor’s committee proposal suggesting the appointment of Central Appraisal District representatives by the district judges and calling them “taxpayer representatives” would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. All over the state, Texans called for at least some members of both Appraisal and Appeals Boards to be popularly elected. I know that some members of the committee were people of good will, but a reasonable person could wonder how stacked the committee was with the governor’s own cronies.

The arrogance over the vaccine issue seals it. The governor must be impeached.

I wish we didn’t share a last name.

Paul D. Perry is a resident of Ellis County and former Ellis County Justice of the Peace for Pct. 4.
Yes, anyone who points out the truth about Rick Perry must be on the Muslim Kenyan's payroll, doing everything they can to get a piece of that $1 Billion- even going back in time to write these articles!

The Muslim Kenyan did not instigate a damn thing- Perry's actions have.

Fess up and admit Mr. McGregor, this piece was strictly penned to undermine the truth. Has all this time you've been sitting in China dulled your sense of propriety and truth? Or are family ties dictating this?

Nuclear experts killed in Russia plane crash helped design Iran facility

The five Russian scientists were among 44 killed earlier this week; no official investigation of foul play has been opened, though Iranian nuclear experts have in the past been involved in similar accidents.
By Amir Oren

The five nuclear experts killed in a plane crash in northern Russia earlier this week had assisted in the design of an Iranian atomic facility, security sources in Russia said on Thursday.

The five Russian experts were among the 44 passengers killed when the Tupolev-134 plane broke up and caught fire on landing outside the northern city of Petrozavodsk on Monday.

JP Morgan Told Judge To Stop Paying Mortgage To Become Eligible For Loan Modification

JP Morgan Told Judge To Stop Paying Mortgage To Become Eligible For Loan Modification

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 01/12/2011 20:17 -0500

In the latest stunner of disclosure in what goes on just below the murky surface of the biggest scam market in the world (that would be the multi-trillion residential debt market), we learn that a Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court judge, Peter Sikora, who is facing foreclosure on his million dollar (8 room) home. But that is not what makes him unique: after all the story of your average American who buys iPads and garter belts with money that should be going into mortgage payments is all too well known by now. What is amazing, however, is that the reason for his 12 month delinquency is that according to JP Morgan, who service the loan, the only way Sikora would be eligible for loan modification would be if he were in delinquency, which is what they advised him to do. That's right - a bank formally told a client to willfully default on a mortgage.
Makes you wonder just how bright he really is, or as was my first thought- a quid-pro-quo attempt? However, reading the comments at the Cleveland.com site, I found this and that and the links are worth the read.

The Arizona killings and shootings.

Six dead and fourteen wounded by an obviously insane 22-year old man- the Paranoid Family extends our deepest condolences.

Not much is known about him beyond his insanity, in fact, real weirdness is what we know due to his writings and YouTube videos, which is even weirder when we see that his page was subscribed to BY Gabrielle Giffords- BEFORE the shootings.

What we do know is those that dance in the blood of tragedies already have started- from John Boehner's classification of elected officials as GREATER than those who elected them to be servants:
"I am horrified by the senseless attack on Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and members of her staff. An attack on one who serves is an attack on all who serve. Acts and threats of violence against public officials have no place in our society. Our prayers are with Congresswoman Giffords, her staff, all who were injured, and their families. This is a sad day for our country."
Then of course, there is Rep. Carolyn McCarthy's continued blood reveling:
"My staff is working on looking at the different legislation fixes that we might be able to do and we might be able to introduce as early as tomorrow," McCarthy told POLITICO in a Sunday afternoon phone interview.
For those that do not recall HOW she was able to get herself elected I will point out that she did so, like some Banana-Republic hero, she "waved the blood soaked shirts" of her husband, who was murdered by the racist Colin Ferguson and her son who was severely wounded by Ferguson. She blamed an inanimate objects instead of the lunatic who did it. Of course, she has no problem with killing a child in a woman's womb, but that is different, isn't it?

And we have Rep. Robert Brady from Pennsylvania who wishes to wipe away the 1st Amendment:

"...reportedly plans to introduce legislation that would make it a federal crime to use language or symbols that could be perceived as threatening or inciting violence against a federal official or member of Congress."

Of course, he also wants the 2nd Amendment scrubbed too and like McCarthy, also is a strong supporter of killing a child in a woman's womb too.

Majority Leader Boehner, Representatives McCarthy and Brady your actions, proposed bills and statements are simply not true as our Republic was founded on such and to deny it is to DENY the very existence of the Republic and our founding documents. Then again, just when did any of you ever call for or put forth legislation that would have those involved in Ruby Ridge, Waco, or even last Wednesdays botched drug raid where Mr. Eurie Stamps, of Framingham, Massachusetts was killed by another one of those government employees, who each of you hold in higher esteem than the public that pays their salaries?

NEVER!

I do not condone those insane acts by Jared Loughner or any other lunatic, nor am I calling for people to do so. What I am pointing out is that you are supposed to be adults with the ability to think and examine all the facts- of which we have damn few. Instead, each of you are doing exactly what the Israeli, Rahm Emanuel, is so famously quoted for:

Go ahead do such, but I want to remind you of your calls to use this act for the destruction of the Republic is NOT what the Founders wanted or abiding by the oath, each of you swore:
A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks.

They that can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.
---Benjamin Franklin, Historical Review of Pennsylvania, 1759.
[The Constitution preserves] the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation...(where) the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms.
---James Madison,The Federalist Papers, No. 46.
[W]hen the resolution of enslaving America was formed in Great Britain, the British Parliament was advised by an artful man, who was governor of Pennsylvania, to disarm the people; that it was the best and most effectual way to enslave them; but that they should not do it openly, but weaken them, and let them sink gradually...I ask, who are the militia? They consist of now of the whole people, except a few public officers. But I cannot say who will be the militia of the future day. If that paper on the table gets no alteration, the militia of the future day may not consist of all classes, high and low, and rich and poor...
---George Mason
Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the people's liberty teeth keystone... the rifle and the pistol are equally indispensable... more than 99% of them by their silence indicate that they are in safe and sane hands. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference. When firearms go, all goes, we need them every hour. Geroge Washington (Address to 1st session of Congress)

State Department updates travel warning to Mexico (and other tidbits).

State Department updates travel warning to Mexico
September 10, 2010 9:32 PM
Lindsay Machak

McALLEN — U.S. citizens should avoid unnecessary travel on Mexican Highway 2 between Reynosa and Nuevo Laredo due to ongoing drug violence, according to a new travel advisory from the U.S. Department of State.

The department issued the bulletin Friday to inform U.S. citizens traveling to and living in Mexico about the security situation there.

"The level of violence in Monterrey is increasing and has spread to areas near a school which many U.S. citizen children attend," according to the warning.

"“Local police and private patrols do not have the capacity to deter criminal elements from areas around the schools. Given the increasing level of violence that is occurring all over Monterrey, school children are at significantly increased risk."

And then there is this from AP via the El Paso Times.

Mexico lashes out at US after migrant massacre
The Associated Press
Posted: 09/10/2010 09:09:27 PM MDT

MEXICO CITY—President Mauricio Funes of El Salvador said Friday he doesn't blame Mexico's government for the massacre of 72 mainly Central American migrants, and called for a joint effort to fight drug cartels.

Mexican President Felipe Calderon and Funes said after their meeting that the two countries have formed a high-level working group to develop joint strategies for combatting the drug gangs.

"We have come to have a conversation with the president of Mexico, not to condemn him or criticize him," Funes said. "Rather the opposite, to show him our support and offer our help in this fight."

Thirteen Salvadorans were among the dead identified so far in the massacre in late August, a killing blamed on one of Mexico's drug cartels, the Zetas.

In a separate interview Friday, Calderon said the migrant massacre doesn't undermine Mexico's moral authority to demand better treatment for its own migrants.

"Of course we have the moral authority, because Mexican officials are not shooting Central American youths at the border, but U.S. agents are shooting Mexican migrants," Calderon said in an interview with the Spanish-language Univision network.

LIAR!

"Wall of Violence" on Mexico's Southern Border

Calderon’s "two-faced" policy combines police, the military, gangs, and Los Zetas to fulfill US mandate to deter Central American migration

"Humberto" is a Honduran subsistence farmer. He grows his beans and vegetables without pesticides and herbicides. “The chemicals they put in food these days ruin the taste,” he says. Humberto has a patch of land, a house, a wife, and five children—three of whom still live at home.

Now we know who he is, this is what happened to him.

But Humberto's plans were put on hold in Arriaga. As Humberto waited for the train in Arriaga—it leaves every three days—he made friends with some fellow train-hoppers who said they were Guatemalan. They chatted, shared a couple of kilos of tortillas and a can of sardines that Humberto had scared up ("Woo! We ate rich that day," he remembers), and dozed on the train tracks. At some point—Humberto doesn't remember exactly when—the Guatemalans disappeared. He looked around, wondering where they went, and saw why they'd fled so fast: a police patrol was headed his way. An unidentified man dressed in plainclothes accompanied them.

Humberto ran. The police and the man ran faster. The man in plainclothes caught Humberto first. He hit Humberto in the ankle with a club. Humberto's ankle shattered and he crumpled to the ground. Their job done, police and the man started to leave. They had no interest in arresting Humberto.

"Hey!" Humberto shouted. "You guys can't just break my foot and leave me here! Take me to a hospital!"

Decriminalize the drugs Calderon. It will not have you and your ilk treating the subjects of Mexico, let alone the migrants from Central & South America, any better, but at least you would then have a moral leg to stand on.

Oh, but wait, you cannot as Sinaloa says NO, don't they

Why, is Foote Cone & Belding, one if the largest advertising agency networks in the World, which in turn, is owned by Interpublic Group, which is one of the Big Four global advertising HOLDING companies, searching through at least sixteen pages of Google Blog searchs about the dead census worker?

This really does make me wonder what kind of research is being performed- and for whom.
