Just a reminder about history that was made today, and in 1957, the Soviet Union launched Sputnik, the first man-made satellite, into orbit which began this world's "Space Age".
In addition, to think NASA did their damndest to prevent civilian space activity for so long, but Victor Koman said it best in KINGS OF THE HIGH FRONTIER.
I do so hope my children get off this rock and into the stars...
