LAPD's security czar didn't have permit for weapon found at LAX

"The LAPD's civilian homeland security czar John Miller didn't have a permit for the loaded .38-caliber handgun he had in a carry-on computer bag when he was stopped last month by luggage screeners at LAX, officials said Friday.
Police officials called the failure to have a permit for the gun a "paperwork glitch", but federal authorities and the District Attorney's Office are continuing investigations of the incident that could lead to Miller's prosecution."
Why should he, he is not one of the little people, just like these peons in Falls Church, Virginia.
I hope that at least one of them had a jar of tar and a bag of feathers...
