The following interview covers two important things- the purse and the sword and what as well as how the Fascists of The Swamp have and are doing.

Of those reading this, most know this, most are concerned, most will do nothing and some are actually working towards the goals defined in the interview. But then, there are those that have known this for a long time, are more than concerned, and are doing things about this so for those that will do nothing, step up now because those working towards these goals are afraid of you. The following interview with Dr. Vieira was conducted in early June of 2011 for the subscribers of The Casey Report – but after careful consideration, we decided that the content is so important; it needs to be shared with a wider audience. Feel free to pass it along.

For more than thirty years, Edwin Vieira, Jr., has practiced law, with emphasis on constitutional issues. In the Supreme Court of the United States, he successfully argued or briefed the cases leading to the landmark decisions Abood v. Detroit Board of Education, Chicago Teachers Union v. Hudson, and Communications Workers of America v. Beck, which established constitutional and statutory limitations on the uses to which labor unions, in both the private and the public sectors, may apply fees extracted from nonunion workers as a condition of their employment.

He has written numerous monographs and articles in scholarly journals, and lectured throughout the county. His most recent work on money and banking is the two-volume Pieces of Eight: The Monetary Powers and Disabilities of the United States Constitution (2002), the most comprehensive study in existence of American monetary law and history viewed from a constitutional perspective.

He is also the co-author (under a nom de plume) of the political novel CRA$HMAKER: A Federal Affaire (2000), a not-so-fictional story of an engineered crash of the Federal Reserve System, and the political upheaval it causes.

His latest book is: How to Dethrone the Imperial Judiciary... and Constitutional "Homeland Security," Volume One, The Nation in Arms.

We first met Dr. Vieira at our Casey Research Boca Raton Summit and were sufficiently impressed to want to hear more, and to share more, of his work with readers of The Casey Report.

DAVID: Before kicking things off, I'd refer readers to Dr. Vieira's in-depth and excellent paper, "A Cross of Gold," as that provides a more detailed analysis on how the corrupt U.S. monetary system might transition into something more honest and effective.

Getting started, from a big-picture perspective, technically speaking, is the current U.S. monetary system actually constitutional?

EDWIN: Well, technically speaking, factually speaking, legally speaking, no. In a word, no.

DAVID: Why not?

EDWIN: There are two levels to consider. First, there's the straight currency level – what is supposed to be the official monetary unit. Then there is "other," which I distinguish as different from the official monetary unit because the Constitution doesn't prohibit private parties from creating media of exchange for their own uses, as long as those media of exchange are non-fraudulent and they're operated in an otherwise honest commercial fashion.

But the official unit of currency is supposed to be the dollar, and I'll tell you exactly what a dollar is – it's 371.25 grains of silver in the form of a coin. That was determined as a historical fact in 1792. Actually the dollar was adopted before the Constitution was even written. It was adopted by the Continental Congress under the Articles of Confederation, the so-called Spanish milled dollar, which was the actual unit that was circulating then, because there had been essentially no coinage under the various colonial regimes in colonial America. So that's the dollar unit.

AND

EDWIN: And yet they allow for it. Now, either this is the biggest bunch of idiots that has ever been assembled in judicial robes in the history of humanity, or there's some other agenda going on here.

DAVID: Assuming that they are not complete idiots, what could that other agenda be?

EDWIN: In my view, and I've written about this for years, the people at the top levels of government understand that their monetary system is inherently flawed. That we're on the Titanic, in a sense, and they know that this ship is going to sink. They don't know when, but they know when it sinks, they're going to have a huge amount of economic dislocation, social crisis and civil unrest to the level of revolt.

So they started developing this police state mechanism in the hopes of keeping the lid on the garbage can when the monetary system breaks down. The upper echelons of the judiciary have been going right along with this because they know what the program is. This is obvious. No one in his right mind would stand by and allow the sort of excesses we’ve seen.

Just the other day, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled that the Fourth Amendment doesn't apply at all because you can sue the police after they've mistakenly broken into your home. But when they break into your home and they kill you, then what?

DAVID: Not a lot of recourse then.

EDWIN: Right, like that poor ex-marine that was shot 60 times in Arizona, and he's dead – now what, can he bring a lawsuit? Have we lost our minds? I mean, you don't have to be a Harvard-educated lawyer to know that this is insanity. This does not rise to the level of just mere error. No one in his right mind can write these kinds of opinions, which means that either they're insane, which I don't believe, or they have another agenda, and the judicial opinions are simply camouflage – they're propaganda to convince us that "Oh well, this is all right" because Judge Flapdoddle told us that it's all right.

Judge Flapdoddle- everyone knows these liars because we all have them. Lying filthy scum hiding behind what most consider an exalted black robe. They are just men who, like the rest believe themselves "Only Ones", who allow citizens to be "Whacked & Stacked" which is a mockery and brought us to "Injustice Everywhere". For those that doubt this, I remind you of "Project Gunwalker" wherein the plan to "walk" guns into Mexico was actually a cover to further eviscerate the 2nd Amendment and now, those that planned, approved, and watched have the blood of not just Mexicans, but Americans- Border Patrol Brian Terry and Ice Special Agent Jaime Zapata.

You cannot wash their blood away and what consistently comes to mind is: How many American Citizens names do we NOT know and just HOW MUCH blood is on YOUR HANDS? Not just because of Gunwalker, but because of EVERY un-Constitutional Act you approved, let stand, or enforced! Not just judges, but bureaucrats, police and elected politicians (local, state, federal).

You use the purse to destroy, just like your Economic Wacos that you love, but ATF is not the only that uses them and if you cannot steal them when people are alive- you go in and kill them.

Ugliness is coming- everyone sees this and you know that it will be worse than the last time the Republic turned it's anger inwards.

I wonder, just how often, of those that are guilty, have dreams bathed in red?

FTC Names British Government Agent to Senior Position

The Federal Trade Commission recently appointed a British government agent to a senior management position, raising serious concerns about the FTC's commitment to US sovereignty and the increasing role of unelected foreign antitrust regulators in restricting the property rights and economic liberties of American citizens.

On June 22, the FTC named Dr. Alison Oldale as deputy director for antitrust in the agency's Bureau of Economics. Dr. Oldale, who is not a US citizen, is currently the chief economist for the United Kingdom's Competition Commission (UKCC). According to a UKCC press release, Dr. Oldale will be "on a year's secondment" – in effect, on loan to the FTC – and she is expected to return to UKCC after completing her service in the US. The FTC's press release on Dr. Oldale's appointment did not disclose this.

Dr. Oldale joined the UKCC in 2009 after working as a director at LECG Corporation, an international consulting firm that provided expert testimony in antitrust litigation. LECG employees were frequent participants in FTC policy workshops, and David Scheffman, a former LECG director, served twice as director of the FTC's Bureau of Economics. LECG ceased operations earlier this year.

A thank you to a South Texas Grackle who sent the following along to me tonight, and before you read it, understand that it is from one source, but it fits with what is being reported across the web about Northern Mexico.

"Sources at Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx Xxxxxxxxx state that the Mexican Army is poised to move troops to the Reynosa/Matamoros area with roughly 1500-2000 troops being sent to Matamoros. The goal is to create a pincer movement to put the squeeze on the cartels. The troop movement will occur after the Troops in the Southern part of Mexico finish up with the crop burning detail they are currently engaged in.

Look for a push against the cartels in the next few weeks.

On the US side, we are on high alert and have deployed rapid response teams, very much like SWAT from all over the country. They are manning the bridges 24/7 and can be seen wearing full tactical gear and carrying M4’s- of course, all personnel are wearing body armor."

Mexico has pretty much always been a rough-and-tumble place. In recent years, however, the security environment has deteriorated rapidly, and parts of the country have become incredibly violent. It is now common to see military weaponry such as fragmentation grenades and assault rifles used almost daily in attacks.

Make no mistake, considering the military weapons now being used in Mexico and the number of deaths involved, the country is in the middle of a war. In fact, there are actually three concurrent wars being waged in Mexico involving the Mexican drug cartels. The first is the battle being waged among the various Mexican drug cartels seeking control over lucrative smuggling corridors, called plazas. One such battleground is Ciudad Juarez, which provides access to the Interstate 10, Interstate 20 and Interstate 25 corridors inside the United States. The second battle is being fought between the various cartels and the Mexican government forces who are seeking to interrupt smuggling operations, curb violence and bring the cartel members to justice.

This Travel Alert updates security information for U.S. citizens traveling and living in Mexico. It supersedes the Travel Alert for Mexico dated October 15, 2008, and expires on August 20, 2009.

While millions of U.S. citizens safely visit Mexico each year (including thousands who cross the land border every day for study, tourism or business), violence in the country has increased recently. It is imperative that travelers understand the risks of travel to Mexico, how best to avoid dangerous situations, and whom to contact if one becomes a crime victim. Common-sense precautions such as visiting only legitimate business and tourist areas during daylight hours, and avoiding areas where prostitution and drug dealing might occur, can help ensure that travel to Mexico is safe and enjoyable.

Crime and Violence Throughout Mexico

The greatest increase in violence has occurred near the U.S. border. However, U.S. citizens traveling throughout Mexico should exercise caution in unfamiliar areas and be aware of their surroundings at all times. Mexican and foreign bystanders have been injured or killed in violent attacks in cities across the country, demonstrating the heightened risk of violence in public places. In recent years, dozens of U.S. citizens have been kidnapped across Mexico. Many of these cases remain unresolved. U.S. citizens who believe they are being targeted for kidnapping or other crimes should notify Mexican officials and the nearest American consulate or the Embassy as soon as possible, and should consider returning to the United States.

About 40 pounds of cocaine were seized Friday in two separate border inspections.

Customs and Border Protection officers found a cocaine package hidden in the oil pan of a Jeep Cherokee on the Hidalgo-Reynosa International Bridge, a CBP news release says. Anita DePlanty, 30, of Houston, was arrested on federal drug charges.

Two hours later, officers working at the Pharr-Reynosa International Bridge found 11 packages of cocaine hidden in the wheel well of a Ford EcoSport. Two Reynosa residents, Ernesto Hernandez Aguilar, 28, and Blas Zuniga Torres, 24, were arrested on drug charges.

The street value for both seizures is $1.3 million.

Then Sunday, the San Juan, Texas police nabbed an 18-wheeler with $3.5 million in cocaine:

SAN JUAN — Police pulled over a tractor-trailer Sunday that was carrying a load of cucumbers - and about $3.5 million worth of cocaine.

The traffic stop occurred about 4:23 p.m. on the 1400 block of the eastbound Expressway 83 frontage road, said Investigator Rolando Garcia, a San Juan police spokesman.

A San Juan patrol sergeant saw the driver of the semitrailer fail to use his turn signal during a lane change on the frontage road, so the officer pulled over the rig, according to a police statement.

You should read the comments by the locals for a better understanding of that lane change, and I must also point out that last Friday, Border Patrol seized more than two tons of marijuana near Escobares, Texas:

U.S. Border Patrol agents seized more than 2 tons of marijuana Thursday after spotting several men loading a GMC cargo van with the narcotics.

Agents from the Rio Grande City station seized the 166 bundles of marijuana while conducting surveillance along the Rio Grande, according to a news release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection. The men fled toward Mexico when the agents approached the van and identified themselves.

No one was arrested.

The 4,159 pounds of marijuana seized by the agents has an estimated street value of more than $3 million.

However, all of this pales in comparison with the knowledge that the Mayor of Ciudad Juarez is alive and well- in El Paso Texas:

EL PASO -- Police are investigating threats against Juárez Mayor Jose Reyes Ferriz, who moved his family to El Paso for safety, El Paso police Detective Carlos Carrillo said Monday.

"We received information that the Juárez mayor lives in El Paso, and that possibly they were going to come to El Paso to get him," Carrillo said. "He has not asked us for our help, but it's our duty to protect any resident of our city who may be under threat."

Juárez police said written threats against Reyes Ferriz and his family were left in different parts of Juárez after the police chief, Roberto Orduña Cruz, resigned Friday. The threats were written on the kind of banners and posters that the Juárez drug cartel has used to send messages to police and others.

Meanwhile, Mexican authorities were unraveling a shooting Sunday in Chihuahua City that killed one of Chihuahua Gov. Jose Reyes Baeza Terraza's bodyguards.

Alejandro Chaparro Coronel died while defending another state agent in a convoy. He was a commander who served on the Chihuahua state police force for 11 years.

The assailants wounded two other bodyguards, both also members of the state police.

Mexican officials said police returned fire and wounded one suspect, Eduardo Hernandez Valdez, 36. He served in the Mexican army from 2001 to 2003.

Sorry to read of the death of his bodyguard, and my condolences go out to his family, but I must confess, the stupidest thing about all of this is the Department of Homeland Security:

Homeland Security official affirms Mexican drug cartel violence has spilled over into Texas

AUSTIN -- Violence from Mexican drug cartels has spilled over into Texas, state Homeland Security Director Steve McCraw said Monday.

"Yes, absolutely it has occurred; there's no question about it," McCraw said after a hearing before the House Committee on Border and International Affairs.

Repeat after me- FAILED STATE! (and not just Mexico).

Now, all of this is occurring while the CONVICT Bobby Rush pushes his victim disarmament bill- yeah convict, keep pushing. We here in Texas REALLY will give them up- but it will be ONE ROUND AT A TIME you coward!

Sept. 5 Is Jury Rights Day. Do You Know Yours?

To grasp why the Bill of Rights leads off by barring Congress from “establishing” any religion, "or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," you must understand that in 18th century England there was no “separation of church and state.” The English monarch to this day includes in her title "Fidele Defensor" – Defender of the Faith. Which helps explains why even our right to a jury trial stems directly from this era.

In 1670, it was declared illegal to hold a religious gathering or preach a sermon in England which was not a “Church of England” sermon. Dissident churches, including the Quaker meeting houses, were closed.

Unable to get into his London meeting house, William Penn led a Quaker meeting in the street outside. He was arrested and put on trial on Sept. 5, 1670, 338 years ago this week.

The judges explained to the jury that preaching a nonconformist sermon was illegal, and Penn had been caught doing just that. They instructed the jury to convict.

The jury asked to be read the wording of the law Penn was said to have violated. The judges told them they didn’t need to read any stinking law, they were to “take the law as we give it to you” – an insufferably aristocratic phrase that’s cropping up a lot in our own courthouses, these days.

The jury said if they couldn’t see the law, they weren’t going to convict. In fact, God bless them, they unanimously acquitted William Penn, who was thus free to emigrate to America, where he subsequently got his picture on a box of oats, and presumably did some other stuff.

The judges were not pleased. They locked the jury in an upstairs room, telling them they’d get no food or water – they couldn’t even come down to use the outhouse – till they convicted.

The jury, led by one Edward Bushel, would not relent. Friends passed them jugs of water on poles. Eventually Bushel and a few others, sticking by their guns, were thrown in prison.
