Texas Independence Day!

The Unanimous Declaration of Independence made by the Delegates of the People of Texas in General Convention at the town of Washington on the 2nd day of March 1836.

When a government has ceased to protect the lives, liberty and property of the people, from whom its legitimate powers are derived, and for the advancement of whose happiness it was instituted, and so far from being a guarantee for the enjoyment of those inestimable and inalienable rights, becomes an instrument in the hands of evil rulers for their oppression.

When the Federal Republican Constitution of their country, which they have sworn to support, no longer has a substantial existence, and the whole nature of their government has been forcibly changed, without their consent, from a restricted federative republic, composed of sovereign states, to a consolidated central military despotism, in which every interest is disregarded but that of the army and the priesthood, both the eternal enemies of civil liberty, the everready minions of power, and the usual instruments of tyrants.

When, long after the spirit of the constitution has departed, moderation is at length so far lost by those in power, that even the semblance of freedom is removed, and the forms themselves of the constitution discontinued, and so far from their petitions and remonstrances being regarded, the agents who bear them are thrown into dungeons, and mercenary armies sent forth to force a new government upon them at the point of the bayonet.

When, in consequence of such acts of malfeasance and abdication on the part of the government, anarchy prevails, and civil society is dissolved into its original elements. In such a crisis, the first law of nature, the right of self-preservation, the inherent and inalienable rights of the people to appeal to first principles, and take their political affairs into their own hands in extreme cases, enjoins it as a right towards themselves, and a sacred obligation to their posterity, to abolish such government, and create another in its stead, calculated to rescue them from impending dangers, and to secure their future welfare and happiness.

Nations, as well as individuals, are amenable for their acts to the public opinion of mankind. A statement of a part of our grievances is therefore submitted to an impartial world, in justification of the hazardous but unavoidable step now taken, of severing our political connection with the Mexican people, and assuming an independent attitude among the nations of the earth.

The Mexican government, by its colonization laws, invited and induced the Anglo-American population of Texas to colonize its wilderness under the pledged faith of a written constitution, that they should continue to enjoy that constitutional liberty and republican government to which they had been habituated in the land of their birth, the United States of America.

In this expectation they have been cruelly disappointed, inasmuch as the Mexican nation has acquiesced in the late changes made in the government by General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, who having overturned the constitution of his country, now offers us the cruel alternative, either to abandon our homes, acquired by so many privations, or submit to the most intolerable of all tyranny, the combined despotism of the sword and the priesthood.

It has sacrificed our welfare to the state of Coahuila, by which our interests have been continually depressed through a jealous and partial course of legislation, carried on at a far distant seat of government, by a hostile majority, in an unknown tongue, and this too, notwithstanding we have petitioned in the humblest terms for the establishment of a separate state government, and have, in accordance with the provisions of the national constitution, presented to the general Congress a republican constitution, which was, without just cause, contemptuously rejected.

It incarcerated in a dungeon, for a long time, one of our citizens, for no other cause but a zealous endeavor to procure the acceptance of our constitution, and the establishment of a state government.

It has failed and refused to secure, on a firm basis, the right of trial by jury, that palladium of civil liberty, and only safe guarantee for the life, liberty, and property of the citizen.

It has failed to establish any public system of education, although possessed of almost boundless resources, (the public domain,) and although it is an axiom in political science, that unless a people are educated and enlightened, it is idle to expect the continuance of civil liberty, or the capacity for self government.

It has suffered the military commandants, stationed among us, to exercise arbitrary acts of oppression and tyrrany, thus trampling upon the most sacred rights of the citizens, and rendering the military superior to the civil power.

It has dissolved, by force of arms, the state Congress of Coahuila and Texas, and obliged our representatives to fly for their lives from the seat of government, thus depriving us of the fundamental political right of representation.

It has demanded the surrender of a number of our citizens, and ordered military detachments to seize and carry them into the Interior for trial, in contempt of the civil authorities, and in defiance of the laws and the constitution.

It has made piratical attacks upon our commerce, by commissioning foreign desperadoes, and authorizing them to seize our vessels, and convey the property of our citizens to far distant ports for confiscation.

It denies us the right of worshipping the Almighty according to the dictates of our own conscience, by the support of a national religion, calculated to promote the temporal interest of its human functionaries, rather than the glory of the true and living God.

It has demanded us to deliver up our arms, which are essential to our defence, the rightful property of freemen, and formidable only to tyrannical governments.

It has invaded our country both by sea and by land, with intent to lay waste our territory, and drive us from our homes; and has now a large mercenary army advancing, to carry on against us a war of extermination.

It has, through its emissaries, incited the merciless savage, with the tomahawk and scalping knife, to massacre the inhabitants of our defenseless frontiers.

It hath been, during the whole time of our connection with it, the contemptible sport and victim of successive military revolutions, and hath continually exhibited every characteristic of a weak, corrupt, and tyrranical government.

These, and other grievances, were patiently borne by the people of Texas, untill they reached that point at which forbearance ceases to be a virtue. We then took up arms in defence of the national constitution. We appealed to our Mexican brethren for assistance. Our appeal has been made in vain. Though months have elapsed, no sympathetic response has yet been heard from the Interior. We are, therefore, forced to the melancholy conclusion, that the Mexican people have acquiesced in the destruction of their liberty, and the substitution therfor of a military government; that they are unfit to be free, and incapable of self government.

The necessity of self-preservation, therefore, now decrees our eternal political separation.

We, therefore, the delegates with plenary powers of the people of Texas, in solemn convention assembled, appealing to a candid world for the necessities of our condition, do hereby resolve and declare, that our political connection with the Mexican nation has forever ended, and that the people of Texas do now constitute a free, Sovereign, and independent republic, and are fully invested with all the rights and attributes which properly belong to independent nations; and, conscious of the rectitude of our intentions, we fearlessly and confidently commit the issue to the decision of the Supreme arbiter of the destinies of nations.

CSMK writes on Ruby Ridge

CSMK sent this in and posting it verbatim.

RAID ON RUBY RIDGE

The Randy Weaver story began sometime in 1989. There is no record as to when the ATF decided to target Randy Weaver for an "illegal weapons" sale. We do know that on October 24, 1989, he sold two shotguns, the barrels of which might have been 1/4" under the 18" minimum "legal" length.

The two 12ga. shotguns, one an H&R single shot and the other a Remington pump, were sold to a "good friend" who asked Weaver to shorten the barrels. Weaver did not know the "good friend" was an undercover ATF informant.

For reasons of their own, ATF did nothing for 8 months. Then Weaver was approached by two ATF agents who made him "an offer he couldn't refuse." That offer was to spy on the Aryan Nations or go to jail. Weaver refused to be intimidated. Six months later he was indicted on the weapons charge.

On January 17, 1991, Randy and Vici, his wife, started into town to purchase supplies. They came across a pickup truck with its hood up. The vehicle appeared stalled. A man and a woman flagged Weaver down. As Randy stepped out of his ehicle, ATF agents swarmed out of the camper on the back of the "stalled" pickup. They knocked Vici to the ground and placed a cocked 9mm pistol against Randy's neck.

Weaver was then taken before a federal magistrate for arraignment. It was later learned that the magistrate cited the wrong law in charging Weaver. Weaver was released on bond. He and Vici returned to their cabin, vowing never to have any more dealings with the federal court system.

A hearing was placed on the docket of the Federal Court in Moscow, Idaho. Weaver was notified by letter to appear on march 20, 1991. Unfortunately, the actual hearing date was February 20, 1991. The U.S. Marshall Service believed, at this point, that the case was a bust. But when Weaver failed to appear in March, U.S. Attorney Ron Howen decided to take a chance and go to the grand jury. Weaver was indicted for failure to appear.

Normal procedure would have been to revoke Weaver's bail bond, issue an arrest warrant an pick Weaver up. Instead, the Marshall Service began what they referred to as "Operation Northern Exposure." The operation consisted of teams of marshals hidden around the cabin, jet reconnaissance over flights for aerial photo analysis by the Defense mapping Agency and high revolution video which was used to gather 160 hours of film. This surveillance went on for sixteen months at a cost of $13,000 a week.

Finally, the Marshal Service brought in U.S. Marshal William Degan to
"plan a successful conclusion of the job."

Degan, a member of the Special Operations Group, was leading the assault on August 21, 1992. The marshals were dressed in camouflage uniforms and face masks. They were armed with semi-automatic pistols and M16s. Degan carried a suppressed MS5 light machine gun.

Knowing that the Weaver's owned dogs, the marshals tossed some rocks toward the cabin. Striker, Sammy Weaver's golden retriever, barked and went to the noise. Sammy and Kevin Harris thought Striker had jumper a deer. They picked up their rifles and followed to dog.

Suddenly a marshal fired a burst and killed Striker. Sammy fired toward the agent. Randy heard the gun fire and yelled at Sammy to return to the cabin. Sammy answer "I'm coming ,Dad." He turned and started running toward the cabin when Degan cut him down with a burst from his machine gun. One bullet hit Sammy in the arm, a second hit the boy in the back, killing him instantly. Kevin Harris, using a bolt
action Remington 721, shot William Degan in the chest. Degan died almost instantly.

Randy, Vici and their daughters were still at the cabin. Keep in mind that Harris' shot killing Degan was the last shot fired by anyone not a federal agent.

Later that day, under the cover of darkness, Harris and Randy went out and recovered Sammy's body. They placed it in the out-building adjacent to the cabin. They then washed the body, then returned to the cabin.

At this point, any honorable intentions the government may have had were abandoned. With a boy and a marshal dead, the government spinmeisters went into high gear. The feds spent the next 16 months, from the beginning of the siege until the Weaver/Harris trial in Federal court painting Randy as a racist (white supremacist vs. a separatist), an anti-semitic and a criminal. They magically transformed his 2x4 and plywood shack into a "mountain fortress" then a bunker and finally a
"stronghold protected by a cache of 15 weapons and ammunition capable of piercing armored personnel carriers." As a matter of fact, none of Weaver's firearms are on the list of banned "assault weapons" in the Crime Control Act of 1994.

The marshals told the press that Harris fired first and that he had kept them pinned down with one bolt action rifle against full-auto M16s and MS5 light machine guns.

Degan's death triggered a call that brought in reinforcements. Soon Weaver's cabin was surrounded by FBI, ATF, U.S. marshals, Idaho State and local police plus National Guard troops.

Richard Rogers was in command of the contingent of the FBI Hostage Rescue Team2 which were deployed as snipers around the cabin. Rogers, while in flight to Ruby Ridge, rewrote the "Rules for Engagement." Normally, federal law enforcement personnel may fire only when facing death or grievous harm. This is generally taken to mean they will return fire but not initiate it. Rogers new orders were literally a death warrant for the adults, both male and female.

The new rules read:

"If any adult in the compound is observed with a weapon after the surrender announcement is made, deadly force can and should be employed to neutralize the individual."

The new rules further stated "If any male is observed with a weapon prior to the announcement, deadly force can and should be employed if the shot can be taken without endangering the children."

Gene Glenn, the FBI agent in overall command, told the New york Times that Weaver was holding the children hostage. This is the same ploy the Feds later used at Waco.

The Feds still did not have any negotiators present nor had any attempt be made to contact the Weavers when Randy, Sara, his oldest daughter and Kevin harris left the cabin to go to the shed were Sammy's body lay.

The FBI sniper, Lon Horiuchi, would later testify in court that he "could hit within a ¬" of a mark at 200" yards. But on this date his shooting was no were near that good. Horiuchi placed the scope cross hairs on Randy Weaver's spine just below the where the neck and shoulders joined. The bullet missed its mark and hit him in the arm instead. When asked in court did he intend to kill Weaver, Horiuchi
answered "Yes, sir."

Sara jumped between her father and Horiuchi. She later told Jess Walters, a reporter for the 'Spokesman Review', "If they were going to shoot someone, I was going to make them shoot a kid."

Sara continued to shield her father and pushed him back to the cabin with Harris following. Sara and Randy moved past Vici who was standing in the cabin doorway. As Harris moved by Vici, who was holding their 10 month old daughter, Horiuchi fired again, striking Vici in the head. Bone fragments from her skull struck Kevin Harris, critically wounding him.

Later, the FBI made several contradictory statements. In an internal report, the FBI indicated that Vici was indeed the intended target. This seems to be verified by the claim made by Bo Gritz, a former Viet Nam war hero called in to negotiate at Weaver's insistence. Gritz stated that he had seen a FBI profile which instructed the agents "to take Vici Weaver out if the opportunity arose." They told the press
that they did not know Horiuchi had killed Vici Weaver, but they also told a 'New York Times' stringer they were "using a listening device that allowed them to hear conversations, and even heard the baby's cries in the cabin."

Jess Walter's story of his interview with Sara Weaver continued "Elisheba cried all night. She was saying 'Mama, mama, mama.' Dad was crying and saying 'I know baby. Your momma's gone."

And like Waco, the FBI began a pyops operation; that is psychological warfare. "They come out late at night and say, 'Come out and talk to us, Mrs. Weaver,' or 'Good morning, Randall. How'd you sleep? We're having pancakes. What are you having?"

After word of Vici's death got out to the media, the Feds claimed she was killed "in an exchange of gunfire." But the only gunfire had been the two shots fire by agent Horiuchi.

Kevin harris' condition continued to worsen, and on August 30, 1992 he surrendered. The following day Randy Weaver walked out of the cabin and gave up.

The federal agencies continued to vilify Weaver and Harris to the press. They apparently believed if they could convict Weaver in the press, they could convict him in court.

Gerry Spence, the lawyer for both Harris and Weaver, did not put on any defense. Instead, he merely cross examined the federal agents. The half-truths and out-right lies told under oath convinced the jury to find Weaver guilty of only one charge, failure to appear in court on the very same weapons charge they found him not guilty of committing. Harris also was found not guilty. Rather, the jury found that the Weaver/Harris' had acted in self defense.

To this very day, the AFT and FBI continue to lie to the news media and the public over their actions at Ruby Ridge. This can not be tolerated for any reason.

1 A shotgun barrel under 18" is not illegal. Under the National Firearms Act of 1934, it does require the firearm be registered with the ATF and a fee be paid. The Supreme Court case of the U.S. vs Staples in 1939 was over non-payment of the fee, not the legality of "sawed-off" shotguns.

2 The FBI Hostage Rescue Teams were under Larry Pott's supervision at Ruby Ridge. Agent Richard Rogers was AIC during the siege, but this does not mitigate Pott's responsibility, especially since he used the same tactics during the Waco Invasion.

Ruby Ridge - Twenty Years

On August 21st, 1992, US Marshals shot and murdered a dog and a 14-year old boy named Sammy Weaver. In self-defense, a family friend, Kevin Harris, who was staying with the Weavers, fired in response and killed one of the Marshals at Ruby Ridge, Idaho.

Over twelve days, Randy Weaver, Sammy's Father, was shot in the back while entering the shack, next to their home, to visit his murdered sons body and severely wounded by FBI HRT sniper Lon Horiuchi. The next round fired by this murderer blew Vicki Weavers (Sammy's Mother) head off while she cradled her 10-month baby girl Elisheba in her arms. The round continued on striking and wounding Kevin Harris in the chest.

Many of you reading this may think that the murderer Horiuchi was being fired upon, but you are wrong because the Rules of Engagement (ROE) had been changed to the following:
1. If any adult male is observed with a weapon prior to the announcement, deadly force can and should be employed, if the shot can be taken without endangering any children.
2. If any adult in the compound is observed with a weapon after the surrender announcement is made, and is not attempting to surrender, deadly force can and should be employed to neutralize the individual.
3. If compromised by any animal, particularly the dogs, that animal should be eliminated.
4. Any subjects other than Randall Weaver, Vicki Weaver, Kevin Harris, presenting threats of death or grievous bodily harm, the FBI rules of deadly force are in effect. Deadly force can be utilized to prevent the death or grievous bodily injury to oneself or that of another
Standard FBI deadly force rules are this:
"Agents are not to use deadly force against any person except as necessary in self-defense or the defense of another, when they have reason to believe they or another are in danger of death or grievous bodily harm. Whenever feasible, verbal warning should be given before deadly force is applied."
This license-to-kill was so obviously un-Constitutional and immoral, that members from Denver, Colorado SWAT, (assigned to the siege) agreed amongst themselves that they would NOT follow it. Obviously, the lessons taught by the Nuremberg and My-Lai Trials of "just following orders" were not lost to these men nor were the morals of our once proud Republic.

This started the first of the sieges on US Citizens that were public and subsequent wide spread discovery by the public of just how often the ATF, US Marshals, FBI and other such government funded JBT and their handlers lie.

Here is an example of lies pointed out about Randy Weaver, written by FBI Assistant Director Danny Coulson on August 24th, 1992 in a memo:
OPR 004477
Something to Consider
1. Charge against Weaver is Bull Shit.
2. No one saw Weaver do any shooting.
3. Vicki has no charges against her.
4. Weaver's defense. He ran down the hill to see what dog was barking at. Some guys in camys shot his dog. Started shooting at him. Killed his son. Harris did the shooting [of Degan]. He [Weaver] is in pretty strong legal position."
Understand, this was written DURING the siege of Ruby Ridge- AFTER Vicki Weaver had been murdered.

Since then, we had Lon Horiuchi also murder at Waco, another ATF/FBI war on the citizens of the Republic that wound up burning alive 86 children, women and men after a 51-day siege upon their Church. Horiuchi was there to shoot those trying to flee the flames. For his reward, he was kept out of the spotlight, after the charges of manslaughter were stripped from the State of Idaho, and in 2008 made a spokesman for HS-Precision, a company once held in high esteem by the shooting public for their ultra high-quality stocks though used primarily, it seems, by Jack Booted Thugs (think US government letter agencies) now.

There have been other less well known instances, others with less than such horrible endings as Ruby Ridge and Waco, but there were others directly blamed on these two events. However, the most troubling aspect of Ruby Ridge, beyond the event itself, the immoral murders of Sammy and Vicky, the lies perpetrated upon Randy and his family is the militarization of police forces across the Republic. This was denied for many years, but even Soldier of Fortune, in a full cover of their March 1999 issue had a lengthy article detailing this. Unfortunately, I can no longer find it on SOF's site, even the cover PDF, but did find the complete article at FOX News and you can read it here. From near the end of the article:
Made-For-TV Nightmare

None of the cop/soldier blur is a secret. Rather, it's what a blur is supposed to be confusing. Night-after-night, American TV audiences are treated to real-life cop shows in which SWAT teams, dressed in camouflage or black, break through doors and hold suspects to the floor with the aid of fully automatic weapons in order to confiscate cocaine, marijuana or heroine in varying amounts.

In local newspapers and on local TV, police departments show-off new programs in which Navy SEALS train local officers. Police chiefs and sheriffs brag of acquiring helicopters, armored personnel carriers and airplanes from the federal government's post-Cold War military surplus programs.

One World Wide Web site (www.policeguide.com/swat.htm) features links to 50 colorful home pages of local yokel SWAT teams throughout the United States, in Mayberry settings like Ames, Iowa, and Spartanburg, S.C.

"It's all being done out in the open, and many people don't see it as frightening," says defense lawyer Blewitt. "That's because Americans have been conditioned to think it will only affect criminals. They've been convinced society is being destroyed by crime, even though violent crime has steadily decreased in recent years, and these military-style police are our only hope. What they should worry about is an emerging police state that threatens the very fabric of free society."
On June 1st, 2011 I posted TL IN EXILE - Hardcore in response to TL's just outrage over the murder of Jose Guerena but this was just one more on the march to the Republic's full oppression. So many others may be read about here, there, and just about everywhere- DAILY! It is so horrible, that the parents of murdered Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry have been told by the DOJ that they have no standing as victims!

For those that have no clue who murdered Border Patrol Agent Agent Brian Terry is, then get out from under your rock, turn the damn bread-and-circuses crap off and read about the latest ATF/FBI/DEA/CIA Politician controlled program to suppress the rights of the Republic in the next five links.
What I have presented here are facts, facts from some of the events over the past nineteen years of atrocities that have numbed most of the Republic- desensitized them to what is coming and that is a crash on a scale of proportions not seen before. Unlike "Global Warming", this is man-made, and we allowed it to occur.

Since 1913, the legislation and tools have been increased for the Republics destruction and the militarization of police is just one key aspect of it.

Near the top, in the right column of this blog is a set of cross-hairs on a bouncing hour-ball, has been there for a very long time and it is titled: How long before it is YOU?

There are so many things working for our destruction; plans, legislation, sown distrust, and simple ignorance created by a false sense of trust in our supposed leaders. How long indeed is the proper question.

Our Founding Fathers, knew what tyranny is- they left us the tools to keep it at bay, we let those tools rust and squandered their wisdom but I will not forget these words:
"Guard with jealous attention the public liberty. Suspect everyone who approaches that jewel. Unfortunately, nothing will preserve it but downright force. Whenever you give up that force, you are inevitably ruined." Patrick Henry
I firmly think, unfortunately, it is nearly time that atrocities such as these, and others will be happening once again. And if you do not believe or think so, then read yesterdays post.

"TL: Are you ready for Thursday?"

TL asks bluntly: Where do we jump off? I suppose as long as life is tolerable we will continue along, waiting for that moment, which I hold has come and gone, easily managed by the politicians of the day.

Many of the same people weigh in, many of the same arguments, one or two people change or nuance their position, and we are all 2 years older while OpFor is 2 more years along with their plan.

Bill posted today about the fact that the war is well underway. For those critics of mine that will state the contrary in regards to already being at war… strap on your heater and walk down town and wait for it. You can't defeat that logic so don't even try, at least not with me.
Most think of the SCOTUS ruling and I say that does not mean a damn thing. The Holder CONTEMPT vote weighs much more heavily on my mind. The Muslim Kenyan's actions yesterday with regards to Arizona speaks volumes!

There is no longer any pretense that we live in a Republic- despite the Republicrats push of Mitt Romney and the November "elections"- this is nothing but theater.

TL also stated this:
I am growing tired of empty gestures and hollow words. This is one reason I have not been posting as often of late. I have my own battles with the powers that be that are non-stop. I do what I can to strike back at the beast in ways that inconvenience them, that take up their time, that runs them about and it all still seems useless. Every day I near the point where writing stops and I concentrate on my own agenda.
It has been the same for me and I am sure many others. Blogs have gone quiet and blogs have gone down.

They know it is coming.

So do I.

So do you.

Celia Alchemy Savage - Why did they arrest her?

'I love mass destruction': Meet the glamorous gun-toting college student arrested on explosives, firearms and drugs charges

By Lydia Warren
PUBLISHED: 09:18 EST, 1 June 2012 | UPDATED: 11:00 EST, 1 June 2012

A college student has been arrested after federal agents swooped on her rural home and allegedly unearthed a cache of illegal weapons, explosives, firearms and drugs.

But when officers confronted Celia Alchemy Savage about the stash at her Cornelia, Georgia home, she reportedly had no remorse, simply stating: 'It's my hobby to blow things up.'

Savage seems to enjoy something of a double life, with photographs on social networking sites showing her toting guns, riding motorcycles, skydiving - and posing provocatively for the camera.

In other photographs on Facebook, the Gainesville State College student dons boxing gloves - before switching to her barely-there bikini to become a ring girl.

The profile page also admits to her love of blowing things up - and her loathing of the law.

'I despise all law enforcement and any governing authority,' she writes. 'I am not one for selective targeting but mass destruction.'

The weapons were discovered after an army of law enforcement officers - from the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the FBI, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and local law enforcement officers - searched Savage's home in the woods.

Authorities discovered two pipe bombs, a selection of firearms - including a Taurus .454 calibre revolver - suspected illegal drugs - including meth and pot - and drug paraphernalia.

Savage allegedly told an FBI agent she has made up to seven pipe bombs as 'manufacturing explosive devices and detonating them for recreation was her hobby', an ATF report noted.

She added that she likes to blow up toilets in the woods, as a video uploaded to YouTube shows. Her father Tommy confirmed she appeared in the video, Channel 2 reported.

Documents also allege that Savage used the pot the day before the search and used the meth two months earlier.

But her father said Savage should not have been arrested for her collection of dangerous weapons and explosives, and insisted her destructive attitude is healthy.

Big Sis Launches Undercover TSA Spies To Ride Houston Buses

Feds to watch for suspicious activity, pre-crime criminal behavior

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet.com
Tuesday, April 17, 2012

A new program in Houston will place undercover TSA agents and police officers on buses whose job it will be to perform bag searches, watch for "suspicious activity" and interrogate passengers in order to 'curb crime and terrorism'.

Democratic Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee unveiled the program, labeled Bus Safe, during a press conference on Friday. According to a Metropolitan Transit Authority of Houston (METRO) press release, agencies involved in the scheme will, "ride buses, perform random bag checks, and conduct K-9 sweeps, as well as place uniformed and plainclothes officers at Transit Centers and rail platforms to detect, prevent and address latent criminal activity or behavior."

"While local law enforcement agencies focus on overall safety measures noted above, representatives with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) will also be on hand, lending their counter-terrorism expertise and support during the exercise," states the press release.

"If you think you're going to be a bad actor on buses, get ready. You are going to have a short-lived time frame," Jackson Lee said during the press conference. The Congresswoman is a staunch advocate of the TSA, having recently chastised the passage of a new law that allows airports to evict TSA agents and replace them with private screeners by claiming it would lead to a new 9/11-style attack.

AMMENDED

After Will's question, I did some searching for more information and found Patrica Saye's number. I called and spoke with her and then sent her the link to my post and she came by and posted the following comments in Haloscan:
My father originally attended a seminar held by the "Montana Freemen."

He was charged with "Felony Theft" - for "endorseing" a draft "signed" by 2 of the Montana Freemen, Leroy Schwitzer and Dan Peterson.

My mother died in my arms, the evening of 01/10/03, while my father was in the hospital, scheduled for surgery the following morning, after our phone had been turned off 2 days earlier, and I could not reach the doctor earlier that morning, until my brother stopped by earlier that afternoon, and left his cell phone with me.

If you have any questions, you may call me on my cell (702) 806-9066, and I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have, if I can.

WP, I'd like to thank you for contacting me today, and for sending my parents story out each year at this time.

May God bless you.

P.S. - I do need to update my website.
Again Patrica, thank you for making your family's story available.

William Barret Travis - Alamo Letters (February 25th)

To Major-General Sam Houston
February 25, 1836

HEADQUARTERS, FORT OF THE ALAMO: Sir; On the 23rd of Feb., the enemy in large force entered the city of Bexar, which could not be prevented, as I had not sufficient force to occupy both positions. Col. Bartes, the Adjutant-Major of the President-General Santa Anna, demanded a surrender at discretion, calling us foreign rebels. I answered them with a cannon shot, upon which the enemy commenced a bombardment with a five inch howitzer, which together with a heavy cannonade, has been kept up incessantly ever since. I instantly sent express to Col. Fannin, at Goliad, and to the people of Gonzales and San Felipe. Today at 10 o'clock a.m. some two or three hundred Mexicans crossed the river below and came up under cover of the houses until they arrived within virtual point blank shot, when we opened a heavy discharge of grape and canister on them, together with a well directed fire from small arms which forced them to halt and take shelter in the houses about 90 or 100 yards from our batteries. The action continued to rage about two hours, when the enemy retreated in confusion, dragging many of their dead and wounded.

During the action, the enemy kept up a constant bombardment and discharge of balls, grape, and canister. We know from actual observation that many of the enemy were wounded -- while we, on our part, have not lost a man. Two or three of our men have been slightly scratched by pieces of rock, but have not been disabled. I take great pleasure in stating that both officers and men conducted themselves with firmness and bravery. Lieutenant Simmons of cavalry acting as infantry, and Captains Carey, Dickinson and Blair of the artillery, rendered essential service, and Charles Despallier and Robert Brown gallantly sallied out and set fire to houses which afforded the enemy shelter, in the face of enemy fire. Indeed, the whole of the men who were brought into action conducted themselves with such heroism that it would be injustice to discriminate. The Hon. David Crockett was seen at all points, animating the men to do their duty. Our numbers are few and the enemy still continues to approximate his works to ours. I have every reason to apprehend an attack from his whole force very soon; but I shall hold out to the last extremity, hoping to secure reinforcements in a day or two. Do hasten on aid to me as rapidly as possible, as from the superior number of the enemy, it will be impossible for us to keep them out much longer. If they overpower us, we fall a sacrifice at the shrine of our country, and we hope prosperity and our country will do our memory justice. Give me help, oh my country! Victory or Death!

William Barret Travis - Alamo Letters (February 24th)

To The People of Texas and
All Americans In The World --
February 24, 1836

Fellow citizens & compatriots --

I am beseiged, by a thousand or more of the Mexicans under Santa Anna -- I have sustained a continual Bombardment & cannonade for 24 hours & have not lost a man -- The enemy has demanded a surrender at discretion, otherwise, the garrison are to be put to the sword, if the fort is taken -- I have answered the demand with a cannon shot, & our flag still waves proudly from the walls -- I shall never surrender or retreat. Then, I call on you in the name of Liberty, of patriotism, & every thing dear to the American character, to come to our aid, with all dispatch -- The enemy is receiving reinforcements daily & will no doubt increase to three or four thousand in four or five days. If this call is neglected, I am determined to sustain myself as long as possible & die like a soldier who never forgets what is due to his own honor & that of his country --

VICTORY OR DEATH

William Barret Travis
Lt. Col. Comdt.

P.S. The Lord is on our side -- When the enemy appeared in sight we had not three bushels of corn -- We have since found in deserted houses 80 or 90 bushels & got into the walls 20 or 30 head of Beeves -- Travis

William Barret Travis - Alamo Letters (February 23rd)

To Andrew Ponton, Judge and Citizens of Gonzales
February 23, 1836
COMMANDANCY OF BEXAR, 3 o'clock p.m.: The enemy in large force are in sight. We want men and provisions. Send them to us. We have 150 men and are determined to defend the Alamo to the last. Give us assistance.

P.S. Send an express to San Felipe with news night and day.

From W.B. Travis and James Bowie
To James W. Fannin (at Goliad)
February 23, 1836
COMMANDANCY OF BEXAR: We have removed all the men to the Alamo where we make such resistance as is due our honor, and that of a country, until we can get assistance from you, which we expect you to forward immediately. In this extremity, we hope you will send us all the men you can spare promptly. We have one hundred and forty six men, who are determined never to retreat. We have but little provisions, but enough to serve us till you and your men arrive. We deem it unnecessary to repeat to a brave officer, who knows his duty, that we call on him for assistance.

A proper thank you is due to No-Neck who suggested this last year.

A flag was raised in 1945, by the United States Marines who took the crest of Mount Suribachi, Iwo Jima.

However, the most important of all occurred in 1836 as Texans gathered in the Alamo, Travis dispatched a hastily scribbled missive to Gonzales:
"The enemy in large force is in sight. We want men and provisions. Send them to us. We have 150 men and are determined to defend the garrison to the last."

07 December, 2011

"December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy."

Seventy years ago, Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Empire of Japan. Monday, December 8th, 1941, FDR, before a joint session of Congress stated:
"Yesterday, December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy—the United States of American was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan."
He spoke for nearly eight minutes, and in that entire time, he never spoke about the fact that he knew it was coming. That he had worked to provoke Japan into making a "mistake" for the past fourteen months. That the knowledge had been withheld from Admiral Husband E. Kimmel and General Walter Short. These men lived their lives in shame thereafter and fought until death to clear themselves.

In October of 2000, "during the presidency of Bill Clinton" he "signed into law, with the support of a bipartisan Congress, the National Defense Authorization Act that, among other provisions, reversed the findings of nine previous Pearl Harbor investigations and found that both Kimmel and Short were denied the crucial intelligence."

This was due to their families relentless fight to clear their fathers names. Many of those in Congress who wrote into the National Defense, clearing their names, read a book written by Robert Stinnett.

That book is Day of Deceit which details these facts.

FDR wanted badly into the WWII to supposedly fight the Germans, but that filthy Commie Bastard, who swore constantly in his fireside chats that "Eleanor don't war, my boys don't want war- there will be no war."

FDR lied.

My Father served in that war, and others that came after it, but he is the one who taught me the truth about FDR before such news was commonly understood. He is the one who lived through the Great Depression and heard that Commie-Bastard not only say such, he also saw his policies of forcing the farmers into town and mocked that butcher FDR accordingly.

My existence is due to that war, but this does not negate the fact that I say the attack on Pearl Harbor should not have happened and could have been averted.

Many people fought to keep us out of WWII, and then, as today, are scorned as Isolationist and Non-Interventionists at best and cowards at worst- they were not. They were people who saw much truth in the waste that would come and when it did, stood and fought.

Many similar things have been happening here and around the World today and we are being told that our Liberties need to be curtailed for our safety and protection.

BULLSHIT!

Give up not one Liberty, not one Freedom, not one more inch given to these government liars whose goal is to turn us into serfs! More such feel-good propaganda will be occurring much more regularly to sway opinions, minds, and emotions to create the scream for security- I say no and be prepared to fight!

What is coming will make the Great Depression look like a walk in the park I firmly think and a friend often says: "I for one look forward to the coming pandemonium- debts will be paid."

Most people hear that and think what does he think he is entitled to? I heard him answer once when asked and he simply said, "What is promised to me as an American in the Constitution and Bill of Rights. I swore an oath to those contracts and contracts flow two ways- not one."

Funny thing is he never says what currency he is willing to accept but I do have a good idea what his is. What will be yours?
