Issa's Hearings on Project Gunwalker

"Fast and Furious" a "Catastrophic Disaster"
Border agents criticize weapons program

Washington, DC
Wednesday, June 15, 2011

As a follow up to Monday’s hearing on a government program intended to track Mexican drug cartels, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee continues its inquiry today.

The Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) program “Operation Fast and Furious" allowed gun stores near the Mexican border to sell semiautomatic weapons in bulk to "straw purchasers" as a way to track Mexican drug cartels. Many of the guns were linked to crimes, including the killing of a Border Patrol agent.

Chair of the Committee, Darrell Issa (R-CA), and Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) released a report on “Operation Fast and Furious," which says border patrol and ATF agents were told to "surveil" weapons and not interdict. It also said agents warned of devastating consequences, including criminal activity, but supervisors ignored their warnings.
Issa just told Ronald Weich: "So felony stupid it got people killed!"

This was after listening to the Weasel Reich's opening statement about being so helpful and Representative Issa held up at least a half dozen pages that are fully redacted.

Then that Suckass Cummings (yes SUCKASS) apologizes for the whole committee and Issa verbally slapped him.

I do not know if I can continue to watch this crap much longer as I am too pissed.

ADDENDUM

Representative Hankle asks about the February 2 statement of Justice that guns were not walked and the Weasel Weich stated "Our February statement is technically truthful." Technically?

ADDENDUM II

Representative Lacy Clay doing his damnedest to make sure the DoJ looks so helpful and honest. Lay down some more Lacy so we can see you do not give a shit about the citizens of either the Republic or Mexico. I do have one question for you Lacy, did you squirt the lube earlier before coming on camera?

ADDENDUM III

Representative Jason Chaffetz - "How can the President know about it and the Attorney General NOT know about it!?!"

EXCELLENT!

ADDENDUM IV

The Weasel Weich: "I cannot define walking."

ADDENDUM V

The Weasel Weich: "I've been generally aware for months." in relation to Representative Buerkle's asking about the three morning witnesses who said that they have never seen an investigation like this.

ADDENDUM VI

Suckass Cummings is tired, tired of not being efficient about these hearings. Hmm, doing his job tires him- just tires him. Then resign Suckass! If getting the truth about these illegal activities and DEMANDING the truth then quit being so soft and PROVE you want to HONOR YOUR PUBLIC COMMITMENTS AND YOUR OATH OF OFFICE!

ADDENDUM VII

Issa just gave DOJ and ATF an out via redaction.

Are these hearings now a sham Representative Issa?
