There is a very simple, and we think overlooked, reason why the abominations of SOPA and PIPA have appeared like cancerous growths in the House and Senate, and it has more to do than just censoring the internet. It goes deeper than that. It hits a nerve. The very idea of a bottom-up, people driven internet clashes violently with the ideological and political worldview that surveillance should only exist in one direction: From the top down.

You see, we've overlooked what it really means in terms of discomfort and career risk to those who normally bask and benefit from the art of statecraft.

You see, the ordinary, unwashed masses - that would be you and me - are in possession of one of the most powerful forces the earth has ever seen.

And you have learned to use it in a way that is indeed alarming.

Ordinary people, with little or no political knowledge or even education, are using it to keep their elected employees under surveillance 24 hours a day, seven days a week - like real hiring managers should.

You see, you're all figuring out that your computer desk at home is now headquarters - it's now the head office - and you're acting like the boss, and these employees don't like it one bit.

Nearly everyone has written on this but this the most succinct article to date that I have read.

Seventy years ago, Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Empire of Japan. Monday, December 8th, 1941, FDR, before a joint session of Congress stated:

"Yesterday, December 7, 1941—a date which will live in infamy—the United States of American was suddenly and deliberately attacked by naval and air forces of the Empire of Japan."

He spoke for nearly eight minutes, and in that entire time, he never spoke about the fact that he knew it was coming. That he had worked to provoke Japan into making a "mistake" for the past fourteen months. That the knowledge had been withheld from Admiral Husband E. Kimmel and General Walter Short. These men lived their lives in shame thereafter and fought until death to clear themselves.

In October of 2000, "during the presidency of Bill Clinton" he "signed into law, with the support of a bipartisan Congress, the National Defense Authorization Act that, among other provisions, reversed the findings of nine previous Pearl Harbor investigations and found that both Kimmel and Short were denied the crucial intelligence."

This was due to their families relentless fight to clear their fathers names. Many of those in Congress who wrote into the National Defense, clearing their names, read a book written by Robert Stinnett.

That book is Day of Deceit which details these facts.

FDR wanted badly into the WWII to supposedly fight the Germans, but that filthy Commie Bastard, who swore constantly in his fireside chats that "Eleanor don't war, my boys don't want war- there will be no war."

FDR lied.

My Father served in that war, and others that came after it, but he is the one who taught me the truth about FDR before such news was commonly understood. He is the one who lived through the Great Depression and heard that Commie-Bastard not only say such, he also saw his policies of forcing the farmers into town and mocked that butcher FDR accordingly.

My existence is due to that war, but this does not negate the fact that I say the attack on Pearl Harbor should not have happened and could have been averted.

Many people fought to keep us out of WWII, and then, as today, are scorned as Isolationist and Non-Interventionists at best and cowards at worst- they were not. They were people who saw much truth in the waste that would come and when it did, stood and fought.

Many similar things have been happening here and around the World today and we are being told that our Liberties need to be curtailed for our safety and protection.

Give up not one Liberty, not one Freedom, not one more inch given to these government liars whose goal is to turn us into serfs! TUCSON, Ariz. — Jose Guerena Ortiz was sleeping after an exhausting 12-hour night shift at a copper mine. His wife, Vanessa, had begun breakfast. Their 4-year-old son, Joel, asked to watch cartoons.

An ordinary morning was unfolding in the middle-class Tucson neighborhood — until an armored vehicle pulled into the family's driveway and men wearing heavy body armor and helmets climbed out, weapons ready.

They were a sheriff's department SWAT team who had come to execute a search warrant. But Vanessa Guerena insisted she had no idea, when she heard a "boom" and saw a dark-suited man pass by a window, that it was police outside her home. She shook her husband awake and told him someone was firing a gun outside.

A U.S. Marine veteran of the Iraq war, he was only trying to defend his family, she said, when he grabbed his own gun — an AR-15 assault rifle.

What happened next was captured on video after a member of the SWAT team activated a helmet-mounted camera.

The officers — four of whom carried .40-caliber handguns while another had an AR-15 — moved to the door, briefly sounding a siren, then shouting "Police!" in English and Spanish. With a thrust of a battering ram, they broke the door open. Eight seconds passed before they opened fire into the house.

And 10 seconds later, Guerena lay dying in a hallway 20-feet from the front door. The SWAT team fired 71 rounds, riddling his body 22 times, while his wife and child cowered in a closet.

"Hurry up, he's bleeding," Vanessa Guerena pleaded with a 911 operator. "I don't know why they shoot him. They open the door and shoot him. Please get me an ambulance."

When she emerged from the home minutes later, officers hustled her to a police van, even as she cried that her husband was unresponsive and bleeding, and that her young son was still inside. She begged them to get Joel out of the house before he saw his father in a puddle of blood on the floor.

But soon afterward, the boy appeared in the front doorway in Spider-Man pajamas, crying.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department said its SWAT team was at the home because Guerena was suspected of being involved in a drug-trafficking organization and that the shooting happened because he arrived at the door brandishing a gun. The county prosecutor's office says the shooting was justified.

Which is it you lying Jack Boot Thugs? He came to the door and you saw him pointing his AR or you broke the door down and murdered him? Don't answer, we know you murdered him.

Kastigar sharply disputed that, calling the Pima County SWAT team one of the best of its kind in the nation. "We're not a bunch of country bumpkins in southern Arizona with big bellies and cowboy hats," he said.

Yes you are as so many SWAT members around the Republic have already stated, in their opinions, you are. Not just any SWAT TEAMS, but members from some of the largest- all one has to do is read the comments from when this story first broke.

The shooting was justified, he said, because Guerena pointed his AR-15 at the SWAT officers and said, "I've got something for you," before they opened fire.

The five SWAT team members who shot Guerena believed that he had fired his weapon first, he said. Subsequent investigation revealed that the gun's safety was on and hadn't been fired. Ultimately, that is not an issue, Kastigar said.

"What reasonable person comes to the front door and points a rifle at people?" he said. "It takes several milliseconds to flip the switch from safety to fire and take out a couple of SWAT officers. I'm firmly of the opinion that he was attempting to shoot at us."

An independent expert, Chuck Drago, a former longtime SWAT officer for Fort Lauderdale, Fla., police who now does consulting on use of force and other law enforcement issues, said that the shooting itself appeared justified.

"It's a horrible, horrible tragedy, but if they walked in the door and somebody came at them with an assault rifle, that would be a justifiable response," said Drago. "It doesn't matter whether he's innocent or not."

But after examining elements of the search affidavit, Drago questioned whether the sheriff's office truly had probable cause.

"When you back up and look at why they're there in the first place and whether the search warrant was proper, my mind starts struggling," Drago said. "There are a lot of things that don't make a lot of sense."

Bloomberg reports today that CME, the world’s largest futures exchange, may face liability in the MF Global scam that has bilked customers out of nearly a billion dollars.

Back on October 30, it was reported that CME noticed a shortfall in MF Global’s segregated client funds, but did not immediately report it to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, the CME Group’s regulator.

CME oversees its futures-broker members such as MF Global under its authority as a self-regulatory organization and is required to report irregularities immediately.

CME’s behavior is especially suspect after $600 million fell in a back hole when it was placed in an account with Wall Street giant JP Morgan following the collapse of MF Global.

As we noted today, it is very suspicious that weeks prior to MF Global’s fall billionaire investors like the Koch brothers had the miraculous foresight to withdraw all their money, prompting accusations that big players got a ‘heads up’ in advance of the firm’s collapse.

Police raid Heckler & Koch in bribery probe

Police have raided the headquarters of German gun maker Heckler & Koch as part of an investigation into illegal gun sales to the Mexican government.

State police officers conducted the Thursday raid at the company’s Oberndorf corporate headquarters in Baden-Württemberg, searching the building and several nearby private homes for information about bribes the company is alleged to have paid to Mexican officials.

Those bribes are said to have resulted in weapons contracts with authorities in Mexico.

The company, which produces many of the world’s most popular small arms for police and military use, has been dogged by investigations into its Mexican operations for years.

Last December police searched its headquarters after it was accused of bribery and selling arms to Mexican states where serious human rights abuses had taken place.

It later said it never sold weapons directly to Mexican states, but rather directly to Mexico’s federal government.

As pressure grows for Germany to tap its gold reserves amid the European sovereign debt crisis, the Bundesbank is refusing to end its silence on where its more than 3,000 tonnes of the precious metal is stored.

Economics Minister Philipp Rösler firmly ruled out digging into the country's reserves to help rescue the euro.

"German gold reserves must remain untouchable. I say this explicitly as Economics Minister, as representative of the Chancellor and as party chairman of the Free Democrats," he said on Monday on ARD television.

On Tuesday, the daily Financial Times Deutschland examined the speculation on where Germany’s horde of gold is being kept. The country's estimated 3,401 tonnes is the second largest national reserves after that of the United States.

Much of Germany’s gold would appear to be still in America, where it was held during the Cold War to ensure it never would fall prey to invading Soviet forces.

Homes raided amid kidnapping probe; businessman may be victim

MISSION — Police here conducted at least two home raids Monday in connection with a kidnapping.

Police would not yet release details on the case, but law enforcement officials did state the license plate number of the victim’s vehicle over the police radio. Public records show the pickup truck is registered to Fred Harms.

Harms is involved with several Rio Grande Valley businesses. He is the director of Santa Fe Steakhouse Inc. and the president of Paradise Car Wash among other businesses, according to the Texas Secretary of State’s records.

Harms could not be reached for comment Monday.

Hmm, and what is being told to many "front line" LEO's (many different types) is that it was a simple "domestic dispute", which is different from what they were initially told (yesterday) according to a number of little birds I have heard from down there.

Just continue that War on Some Drugs- keep importing this crime, it is what TPTB really want no matter what they say.

MISSION — Two men faced aggravated kidnapping charges after they allegedly abducted a McAllen businessman at gunpoint from a Denny’s parking lot Sunday night.

Judge Horacio Peña Jr. charged Armando Hernandez, 48, and Edgar Daniel Saavedra, 21, with the first degree felony Tuesday at the Mission Municipal Court.

Investigators believe both were part of a group of men who kidnapped Fred Harms, director of Santa Fe Steakhouse Inc. and president of Paradise Carwash — both in McAllen.

Harms managed to escape from his assailants Monday morning.

The kidnapping stemmed from a lovers’ quarrel, said Mission Assistant Police Chief Martin Garza. Hernandez and the victim were apparently dating the same woman.

Hernandez — whom sources said is a police comandante in Mexico — apparently orchestrated the kidnapping, police said. He asked Farms to meet him at the Mission restaurant, 116 South Shary Road, about 8 p.m. Sunday.

In that fateful year of 1861, during the war of Northern Aggression, The "Mason and Slidell (also known as the Trent) Affair" occurred when the USS San Jacinto stopped the United Kingdom mail ship Trent and arrests two Confederate envoys, sparking a diplomatic crisis between the UK and US.

Ninety-four years ago, in 1917, The People's Commissars give authority to Vladimir Lenin, Leon Trotsky, and Joseph Stalin.

Hitler, in 1923, led the failed Beer Hall Putsch in Munich, was jailed where he wrote Mein Kampf.

In 1933, that commie-rat bastard Roosevelt unveiled the Civil Works Administration, an organization designed to destroy wealth and was the start of the a major push by the Socialists and Communists to destroy the Republic- just as they are doing in 2010.

During WWII, in 1942, Operation Torch, where the United States & United Kingdom forces invaded French North Africa- which was a major success.

Then in 1960, John F. Kennedy won the presidential election against Richard Nixon.

In 1965, Sergeant First Class Lawrence Joel's heroic actions (then Specialist 5), during Operation Hump in Viet Nam (his second war in the Orient) when the 173rd Airborne is ambushed by over 1,200 Viet Cong, and this led directly to his earning the the Congressional Medal of Honor.

Al Gore in the year 2000 was much less gracious than Richard Nixon, who, for the good of the Republic, did not fight the cheating bastards provable fraud in Chicago, Texas and West Virginia.

In addition, speaking of today in 2000, that miserable bastard John C. Danforth continued the whitewash and released the official last cover-up and absolution of what an atrocity the U.S. Government perpetrated at Waco in 1993.

There is much history on this day, in fact all across the Republic, "elections" are being held. Across the Atlantic, Europe is imploding. In the Pacific, China and the others are smoldering (whether they realize it or not).

However, we are now at $15TRILLION- "officially" even though the Dalls Fed Chairman, Richard W. Say you are the head back office guy at MF Global, it is the close of trading on Thursday, the firm has already completely drawn down on its revolver, and all the resulting cash in addition to all the firm's cash at your disposal in affiliated bank accounts, up to and including petty cash, has been used to satisfy margin demands due to declining collateral value, yet the collateral calls just won't stop, and impatient voices on the other side of the phone line demand you transfer even more cash over immediately or else risk default proceedings commenced against you within minutes. What do you do? Do you go ahead and tell your superior that the firm is broke even though the co-opted media is trumpeting every 5 minutes that "MF Global is fine", knowing full well you will be immediately fired for being the bearer of bad news, or do you assume that courtesy of your uber-boss being the former head of the Vampire Squid, and thanks to infinite moral hazard which after Lehman made sure nobody would ever fail ever again, that there is simply no way that you will be left without some miraculous rescue, if only you can last one more day, and as a result proceed to "commingle" some client funds with the firm's cash.

Just like the future of the Republic, it's gone.

Oct. 26 falls on a Thursday this year.

Ask the significance of the date, and you're likely to draw some puzzled looks -- five more days to stock up for Halloween?

It's a measure of men like Col. Mitchell Paige that they wouldn't have had it any other way. What he did 58 years ago, he did precisely so his grandchildren could live in a land of peace and plenty.

Whether we've properly safeguarded the freedoms he and his kind fought to leave us as their legacy, may be a discussion better left for another day. Today we struggle to envision -- or, for a few of us, to remember -- how the world must have looked on Oct. 26, 1942. A few thousand lonely American Marines had been put ashore on Guadalcanal, a god-forsaken jungle island which just happened to lie like a speed bump at the end of the long blue-water slot between New Guinea and the Bismarck Archipelago -- the very route the Japanese Navy would have to take to reach Australia.

On Guadalcanal the Marines built an air field. And Japanese commander Isoroku Yamamoto immediately grasped what that meant. No effort would be spared to dislodge these upstart Yanks from a position that could endanger his ships during any future operations to the south. Before long, relentless Japanese counterattacks had driven the U.S. Navy from inshore waters. The Marines were on their own.

World War Two is generally calculated from Hitler's invasion of Poland in 1939. But that's a eurocentric view. The Japanese had been limbering up in Korea and Manchuria as early as 1931, and in China by 1934. By late 1942 they'd devastated every major Pacific military force or stronghold of the great pre-war powers: Britain, Holland, France, and the United States. The bulk of America's proud Pacific fleet lay beached or rusting on the floor of Pearl Harbor.

As Mitchell Paige -- then a platoon sergeant -- and his men set about establishing their last defensive line on a ridge southwest of the tiny American bridgehead at Henderson Field on Guadalcanal on Oct. 25, it's unlikely anyone thought they were about to provide a definitive answer to that most desperate of questions: How many able-bodied U.S. Marines does it take to hold a hill against 2,000 desperate and motivated attackers?

The Japanese Army had not failed in an attempt to seize any major objective since the Russo-Japanese War of 1895. But in preceding days, Marine commander Vandegrift had defied War College doctrine, "dangling" his men in exposed positions to draw Japanese attacks, then springing his traps "with the steel vise of firepower and artillery," in the words of Naval historian David Lippman.

The Japanese regiments had been chewed up, good. Still, American commanders had so little to work with that Paige's men had only four 30-caliber Browning machine guns on the one ridge through which the Japanese opted to launch their final assault against Henderson Field, that fateful night of Oct. 25.

By the time the night was over, "The 29th (Japanese) Infantry Regiment has lost 553 killed or missing and 479 wounded among its 2,554 men," historian Lippman reports. "The 16th (Japanese) Regiment's losses are uncounted, but the 164th's burial parties handle 975 Japanese bodies. ... The American estimate of 2,200 Japanese dead is probably too low."

Among the 90 American dead and seriously wounded that night were all the men in Mitchell Paige's platoon. Every one. As the night wore on, Paige moved up and down his line, pulling his dead and wounded comrades back into their foxholes and firing a few bursts from each of the four Brownings in turn, convincing the Japanese forces down the hill that the positions were still manned.

The citation for Paige's Congressional Medal of Honor adds: "When the enemy broke through the line directly in front of his position, P/Sgt. Paige, commanding a machine gun section with fearless determination, continued to direct the fire of his gunners until all his men were either killed or wounded. Alone, against the deadly hail of Japanese shells, he fought with his gun and when it was destroyed, took over another, moving from gun to gun, never ceasing his withering fire."

In the end, Sgt. Paige picked up the last of the 40-pound, belt-fed Brownings -- the same design which John Moses Browning famously fired for a continuous 25 minutes until it ran out of ammunition in its first U.S. Army trial -- and did something for which the weapon was never designed. Sgt. Paige walked down the hill toward the place where he could hear the last Japanese survivors rallying to move around his flank, the gun cradled under his arm, firing as he went.

The weapon did not fail.

Coming up at dawn, battalion executive officer Major Odell M. Conoley first discovered the answer to our question: How many able-bodied U.S. Marines does it take to hold a hill against two regiments of motivated, combat-hardened infantrymen who have never known defeat?

On a hill where the bodies were piled like cordwood, Mitchell Paige alone sat upright behind his 30-caliber Browning, waiting to see what the dawn would bring.

One hill: one Marine.

But that was the second problem. Part of the American line (start ital)had(end ital) fallen to the last Japanese attack. "In the early morning light, the enemy could be seen a few yards off, and vapor from the barrels of their machine guns was clearly visible," reports historian Lippman. "It was decided to try to rush the position."

For the task, Major Conoley gathered together "three enlisted communication personnel, several riflemen, a few company runners who were at the point, together with a cook and a few messmen who had brought food to the position the evening before."

Joined by Paige, this ad hoc force of 17 Marines counterattacked at 5:40 a.m., discovering that "the extremely short range allowed the optimum use of grenades." In the end, "The element of surprise permitted the small force to clear the crest."

And that's where the unstoppable wave of Japanese conquest finally crested, broke, and began to recede. On an unnamed jungle ridge on an insignificant island no one had ever heard of, called Guadalcanal. Because of a handful of U.S. Marines, one of whom, now 82, lives out a quiet retirement with his wife Marilyn in La Quinta, Calif.

On Oct. 26, 1942.

When the Hasbro Toy Co. called up some years back, asking permission to put the retired colonel's face on some kid's doll, Mitchell Paige thought they must be joking.

But they weren't. That's his mug, on the little Marine they call "GI Joe."

And now you know.

Remember when it was your job to be cheerful and optimistic if creating forecasts for insolvent and nationalized entities, whose entire pseudo-business model is predicated upon the return of the housing bubble and the overall Ponzi resuming? Apparently not, especially if one has read the following forecast from none other than Fannie Mae. So while we have Barclays, Deutsche, JPM, TCW, and any other axed bank , you name it, defending PrimeX which is nothing more or less than a bet on the "safe" tranche of US home price prospects and housing overall, here is the one entity with more mortgages on its books than any other organization, telling us how it really feels.

The Federal Reserve and Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. disagree over the transfers, which are being requested by counterparties, said the people, who asked to remain anonymous because they weren’t authorized to speak publicly. The Fed has signaled that it favors moving the derivatives to give relief to the bank holding company, while the FDIC, which would have to pay off depositors in the event of a bank failure, is objecting, said the people. The bank doesn’t believe regulatory approval is needed, said people with knowledge of its position.

WASHINGTON -- If you call a radio talk show and get on the air, you might be recorded by the FBI.

The FBI has awarded a $524,927 contract to a Virginia company to record as much radio news and talk programming as it can find on the Internet.

The FBI says it is not playing big brother by policing the airwaves, but rather seeking access to what airs as potential evidence.

"This doesn't give us any enhanced capability, prying into or any 'big brother' concerns because this is information that's being put out on the airwaves," FBI spokesman Paul Bresson told WMAL.com. "Its very important to our investigators to know what's being reported."

Bresson cites as an example of the case of the Times Square bomber.

"It's ideal for cases like that because we can extract information that's already been reported and help our investigators make better decisions."

All of this is not good or enjoyable news and there is so much more out there, but there are bright spots- such as this:

In the old Roman Republic before the wars of Marius and Sulla it was considered sacrilege to put to death a Roman Citizen without trial. The Civil Wars changed that, and when one faction won it would publish lists of enemies who could be killed without trial or mercy if found within Roman jurisdiction. Most lists of proscription also carried rewards to those who found and executed the proscribed enemy of the people. Proscriptions also carried confiscation of property, and were used by Sulla to replenish the treasury.

After Sulla the practice was used by other factions. Julius Caesar refused to employ such a device on his election as Consul and elevation to dictatorship, but when Caesar was assassinated

Ten years ago, I watched the Twin Towers fall. A San Francisco Examiner headline the next day summed up my feelings fairly well: “Bastards!” Of course we had to fight back. I thought there’d be a bit of a scuffle, much like the first Gulf War, and we’d be done with the whole affair in a few weeks.

A decade later, do I ever feel silly. My eureka moment came around 2004, when I stumbled across a piece that had appeared in the French weekly Le Nouvel Observateur sometime in 1998, featuring former United States National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski. In Cheshire Cat fashion, Brzezinski explained that offering CIA aid to the mujahideen drew “the Russians into the Afghan trap,” where we armed the Taliban’s predecessors to the gills after Russia’s invasion. The unrepentant Brzezinski was delighted by his maneuver that gave Russia its own Vietnam War, bankrupting them and ending the Cold War.

So long as the War on Some Drugs continues, this will only get worse. Moreover, the continued suppression of our Rights will get worse. Ten to fifteen years ago, it was not this bad, even though you did have "psuedo-cop" invasions occurring on a fairly frequent basis down along the river in the early 1990's but tended to be small time locals doing so. Now, most times, such pretense is off and kidnappings occur.

The biggest problem is that most people are happy with selective rights as they think they know what their rights are, but never spent more than was required in HS to read and learn.

Spend some time, learn, realize that this is already farther North than you realize and that your Rights are much more suppressed than you realized.

The first reason is that Hoare was a primary whistle-blower in the unfolding crisis at News Corporation. The scandal has implicated multitudes in illegal and immoral electronic eavesdropping on everyone from an abducted teenager to Prince William and his brother.

The second and far more ominous reason is because Sean Hoare’s demise was not suspicious in any way. I read the following at NO LAWYERS, ONLY GUNS AND MONEY wherein he points out in the following that:

So I hit the embedded link to read what was posted and read this:

A post by Lyle over at View from North Central Idaho got me thinking about a topic I started researching:
"The patent on the M1 carbine was owned by Western Cartridge Co. and David "Carbine" Williams, and still in effect when Penney and Arnold wanted to begin manufacturing M1 carbines in 1958. Penney and Arnold contacted Winchester-Western and offered them a percentage per carbine manufactured, in return for permission to manufacture the M1 carbine. John Olin, owner of Winchester-Western, refused. Olin, Winchester-Western, and more than a few other American manufacturers were opposed to all of the surplus weapons being returned to the United States, where they were being sold at prices the manufacturers couldn’t compete with. This opposition eventually led the manufacturers and the National Rifle Association to support the Gun Control Act of 1968, which, amongst many other things, prohibited the importation of U.S. military surplus."
I’ve tried, at various times, to do some research on the historical arguments surrounding the Gun Control Act and the National Firearms Act, but there’s difficulty without spending some very serious time or buying articles. Dave Hardy is also probably more of an expert on this than I am, given he’s done quite a bit of this kind of research. Generally speaking, I’d want to rely on period accounts rather than modern accounts. Examination of the Congressional Record would also be important. My concern is that there’s a lot of bullshit in this issue, and plenty of people willing to twist the truth to help fit their preferred narrative.

I read the post, hit the links and then went to comments where I found out that you cannot put in hyperlinks as it will be seen as SPAM. OK, his site, his rules, his way of preventing outside sources and controlling the debate. Fine by me, as I will copy and past and link and then I will bring back posts I made in regards to this "debate" and point you to the embedded links in each one of my posts, and say READ THEM ALL!

I checked each link, fixed where needed, switched to the Web Archive versions and added a comment since Haloscan/JSKit/Echo no longer allows me to edit them.

If Snowflakes in Hell is providing new insight regarding the NRA actions, non-actions or complicity in writing the major and not so major Gun Control Laws of the 20th Century that is great! However excluding current NRA activities such as spending 22+ hours on this blog on November 13th, 2006 because of the following VERBATIM post I made on November 10th, 2006 then, I still will be hard pressed to believe let alone think that the NRA is NOT happy to see more gun control laws that SUPPRESS the RIGHTS of the Republic or that the did not gladly assist in writing the 1934NFA, 1968CGA or the utter disdain for over-turning the HUGHES AMENDMENT to the 1986FOPA.

In my recent post, Stalwarts versus NRA, there were several comments made and one in particular by Hammer (see here).

However, to make things easier to follow, here is what Hammer said:

Heck, I did not even mention the funny money stuff or their ridding the BoD of all but WINNING TEAM type Yes-Folk, but that is another point that most either gloss over, forget, do not know about or intentionally ignore.

I strongly suggest that if a contemporary view from the years of 1934, 1968 and 1986+ of these laws and the NRA's position and views are desired, find the old issues of American Rifleman as the printed word says a lot- almost as much as the NRA's actions in regards to these laws and should also provide leads regarding manufacturers attitudes, desires and wishes (it is not like the Republic does not have a boat load of laws to prevent competition at the behest of manufacturers).

Also, one better look REAL hard at who lead the NRA/ILA to the success of the 1986FOPA- then look at what the NRA did to him.

Oh, and just so everyone knows, in regards to FULL DISCLOSURE, I am a paid in full NRA LIFE MEMBER and have been for years.

Ruby Ridge - Nineteen Years on

On August 21st, 1992, US Marshals shot and murdered a dog and a 14-year old boy named Sammy Weaver. In self-defense, a family friend, Kevin Harris, who was staying with the Weavers, fired in response and killed one of the Marshals at Ruby Ridge, Idaho.

Over twelve days, Randy Weaver, Sammy's Father, was shot in the back while entering the shack, next to their home, to visit his murdered sons body and severely wounded by FBI HRT sniper Lon Horiuchi. The next round fired by this murderer blew Vicki Weavers (Sammy's Mother) head off while she cradled her 10-month baby girl Elisheba in her arms. The round continued on striking and wounding Kevin Harris in the chest.

Many of you reading this may think that the murderer Horiuchi was being fired upon, but you are wrong because the Rules of Engagement (ROE) had been changed to the following:

1. If any adult male is observed with a weapon prior to the announcement, deadly force can and should be employed, if the shot can be taken without endangering any children.
2. If any adult in the compound is observed with a weapon after the surrender announcement is made, and is not attempting to surrender, deadly force can and should be employed to neutralize the individual.
3. If compromised by any animal, particularly the dogs, that animal should be eliminated.
4. Any subjects other than Randall Weaver, Vicki Weaver, Kevin Harris, presenting threats of death or grievous bodily harm, the FBI rules of deadly force are in effect. Deadly force can be utilized to prevent the death or grievous bodily injury to oneself or that of another

Standard FBI deadly force rules are this:

"Agents are not to use deadly force against any person except as necessary in self-defense or the defense of another, when they have reason to believe they or another are in danger of death or grievous bodily harm. Whenever feasible, verbal warning should be given before deadly force is applied."

This license-to-kill was so obviously un-Constitutional and immoral, that members from Denver, Colorado SWAT, (assigned to the siege) agreed amongst themselves that they would NOT follow it. Obviously, the lessons taught by the Nuremberg and My-Lai Trials of "just following orders" were not lost to these men nor were the morals of our once proud Republic.

This started the first of the sieges on US Citizens that were public and subsequent wide spread discovery by the public of just how often the ATF, US Marshals, FBI and other such government funded JBT and their handlers lie.

Here is an example of lies pointed out about Randy Weaver, written by FBI Assistant Director Danny Coulson on August 24th, 1992 in a memo:

1. Charge against Weaver is Bull Shit.
2. No one saw Weaver do any shooting.
3. Vicki has no charges against her.
4. Weaver's defense. He ran down the hill to see what dog was barking at. Some guys in camys shot his dog. Started shooting at him. Killed his son. Harris did the shooting [of Degan]. He [Weaver] is in pretty strong legal position."

Understand, this was written DURING the siege of Ruby Ridge- AFTER Vicki Weaver had been murdered.

Since then, we had Lon Horiuchi also murder at Waco, another ATF/FBI war on the citizens of the Republic that wound up burning alive 86 children, women and men after a 51-day siege upon their Church. Horiuchi was there to shoot those trying to flee the flames. For his reward, he was kept out of the spotlight, after the charges of manslaughter were stripped from the State of Idaho, and in 2008 made a spokesman for HS-Precision, a company once held in high esteem by the shooting public for their ultra high-quality stocks though used primarily, it seems, by Jack Booted Thugs (think US government letter agencies) now.

There have been other less well known instances, others with less than such horrible endings as Ruby Ridge and Waco, but there were others directly blamed on these two events. However, the most troubling aspect of Ruby Ridge, beyond the event itself, the immoral murders of Sammy and Vicky, the lies perpetrated upon Randy and his family is the militarization of police forces across the Republic. This was denied for many years, but even Soldier of Fortune, in a full cover of their March 1999 issue had a lengthy article detailing this. Unfortunately, I can no longer find it on SOF's site, even the cover PDF, but did find the complete article at FOX News and you can read it here. From near the end of the article:

Made-For-TV Nightmare

None of the cop/soldier blur is a secret. Rather, it's what a blur is supposed to be confusing. Night-after-night, American TV audiences are treated to real-life cop shows in which SWAT teams, dressed in camouflage or black, break through doors and hold suspects to the floor with the aid of fully automatic weapons in order to confiscate cocaine, marijuana or heroine in varying amounts.

In local newspapers and on local TV, police departments show-off new programs in which Navy SEALS train local officers. Police chiefs and sheriffs brag of acquiring helicopters, armored personnel carriers and airplanes from the federal government's post-Cold War military surplus programs.

One World Wide Web site (www.policeguide.com/swat.htm) features links to 50 colorful home pages of local yokel SWAT teams throughout the United States, in Mayberry settings like Ames, Iowa, and Spartanburg, S.C.

"It's all being done out in the open, and many people don't see it as frightening," says defense lawyer Blewitt. "That's because Americans have been conditioned to think it will only affect criminals. They've been convinced society is being destroyed by crime, even though violent crime has steadily decreased in recent years, and these military-style police are our only hope. What they should worry about is an emerging police state that threatens the very fabric of free society."

On June 1st, 2011 I posted TL IN EXILE - Hardcore in response to TL's just outrage over the murder of Jose Guerena but this was just one more on the march to the Republic's full oppression. So many others may be read about here, there, and just about everywhere- DAILY! It is so horrible, that the parents of murdered Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry have been told by the DOJ that they have no standing as victims!

What I have presented here are facts, facts from some of the events over the past nineteen years of atrocities that have numbed most of the Republic- desensitized them to what is coming and that is a crash on a scale of proportions not seen before. Unlike "Global Warming", this is man-made, and we allowed it to occur.

Since 1913, the legislation and tools have been increased for the Republics destruction and the militarization of police is just one key aspect of it.

Near the top, in the right column of this blog is a set of cross-hairs on a bouncing hour-ball, has been there for a very long time and it is titled: How long before it is YOU?

There are so many things working for our destruction; plans, legislation, sown distrust, and simple ignorance created by a false sense of trust in our supposed leaders. How long indeed is the proper question.

Our Founding Fathers, knew what tyranny is- they left us the tools to keep it at bay, we let those tools rust and squandered their wisdom but I will not forget these words:

Forty Years since Nixon's Great Crime

In 2004, 2005, and 2007 I posted about the Nixon ending the Gold Standard.

Tomorrow marks the 40th anniversary of Nixon ending the Gold Standard and since then, especially in the past four years our "leaders" have fully bankrupted us.

Gold in 1971 was priced at the artificial price of $35.00FRN because of the Bretton Woods System and by the end of 1971 it was priced at $44.20FRN- a 38.804% increase. Then, by the end of 1972 an ounce of gold sold for $70.30FRN a jump of just over 100% in sixteen and half (16½) months, peaked at the end of February 1975 at $185.25FRN and was down to $140.25FRN at the end of the year (appreciation to KITCO for making the graphs available). From then until the peak in 1980 until 1999 the pricing stayed relatively flat and if interested, you can see the average price from 1968 until today here (appreciation to the Gold Information Network for having the data available to all).

Now, let us recall that the peak price for gold was January 21st, 1980 at $850.00FRN and that it recently hit a "high price" of $1814.80FRN on the spot market which seems on the surface to be a new record, but it is not.

Thanks to inflation, it will take $2,328.45FRN to beat the old record, in equivalent FRN (1980 $850.00FRN = 2011 $2,328.44). This means that gold is $513.65FRN away from the record or 35.331% away and one third (1/3rd) away which seems like a lot, but even the JPMorgue thinks it very well may hit this price and pass it by the end of this year.

Many think and believe it- I know I do but unfortunately, I am not a wealthy man, nor do I have funds to allocate to it and frankly never have. My Wife and I put food on the table, pay our bills and store what we can and have done so for a number of years but never really had a lot of disposable funds. Some of this was unintended bills, others were our mistakes and will never blame others for OUR choices.

Banksters, corporations, politicians, and parasites do such- we do not. They never risk themselves, always others and the fruits of others labors is what they choose to use via corrupt legislation that become laws- which they pay for to the politicians.

Everyone knows this and most in the united States have their livelihood tied to this and they do not want it to end.

However, it cannot last as there is NO SUCH THING AS PERPETUAL MOTION.

The Republic of these United States is bankrupt and yesterday, the Iowa Straw Poll was won by Michele Bachmann by LESS one percent (1%). A woman who has always worked for government- first as an IRS Agent who put people in jail over taxes and then her husband and she collected a portion of her funds from foster kids.

The Bachmanns were licensed by the state from 1992 to 2000 to handle up to three foster children at a time; the last child arrived in 1998. They began by offering short-term care for girls with eating disorders who were treated through a program at the University of Minnesota, said George Hendrickson, the chief executive of PATH Minnesota, the private agency that handled the placements.

While Mrs. Bachmann may have envisioned herself caring for unwed mothers, as she said in 2006, Mr. Hendrickson, who worked with the couple for four years, said that to his knowledge, none were pregnant.

He said the Bachmann home was "technically considered a treatment home," which offered a higher level of reimbursement. (The current rate is $47 a day, Mr. Hendrickson said.) That designation required a higher standard of care from parents who had the educational and emotional capability to handle "serious mental health issues." Dr. Bachmann's training was an asset.

Now, realize today's $47.00FRN rate was just over $29.00FRN's (once again, using the BLS Inflation Calculator for this) in 1992 or $7830.00FRN for roughly nine months per child (scaled down to nine months for this figure for 1992). Today, that would be $12,597.31 for one kid (not counting the changes in law since then and the increase in monies via other programs for foster children). By 2000 that daily stipend was $43.68 or $11,793.60 for nine months per child. This does not take into account any ancillary business her husband GAINED by word of mouth for his therapy business because of the foster children.

Now, granted, these figures are estimation on my part but I think them valid when looking at this woman and those who tout her as a real conservative and a solution for our bankruptcy and in fact, most, as usual will not look or hear anything but soundbites.

Everyone of the GOP slate, except for one, has recently touted that the Federal Reserve needs auditing and the Thursday "debate" put on by FAUX NEWS was full of laughter due to the responses of those on stage- except for one, Ron Paul.

Across the Web, TV, Radio there are those who are and will continue to do their damndest to see him fail.

Each has a stake in his failure- whether they firmly believe he is wrong or have monied interests in the outcome, the goal is the same- the continuation of our ruin.

Ron Paul entered politics specifically because of Nixon's Great Crime and the only man who is running who has worked his entire career to see it corrected.

While still a medical resident during the 1960s, Paul was influenced by Friedrich Hayek’s The Road to Serfdom, which caused him to read many publications by Ludwig von Mises and Ayn Rand. He came to know economists Hans Sennholz and Murray Rothbard well, and credits to them his interest in the study of economics. He came to believe that what the Austrian school economists wrote was becoming true on August 15, 1971, when President Richard Nixon "closed the gold window" by implementing the U.S. dollar's complete departure from the gold standard. That same day, the young physician decided to enter politics, saying later, "After that day, all money would be political money rather than money of real value. I was astounded."

It is good to see more and more have awakened and are waking up, but they need context and history.

A goodly portion in Iowa did yesterday as Ron Paul nearly came in first- missed it by nine tenths of a one point (9/10ths of 1%) and for those that think this a loss, I will point out that the IRS Agent had roughly twenty percent (20%) of her supporters either cast votes for others or not at all and squandered $35,310.00FRN on poll tickets.

If he had won first place, all of those wanting Ron Paul to fail would have touted that the poll meant nothing, but they cannot now as those very same are touting it as propelling the IRS Agent into the lead.

This was a huge win for Ron Paul, but even more so for Liberty as he has often said, it is not about him, but the ideas of Liberty and Freedom.

Ron Paul started his career forty years ago, has spent those forty years fighting against Nixon's Great Crime and the next sixteen months will be the culmination.

What do you want, those that wish to dictate how you and others live, or a man who started his his career in politics for his and others liberties?

The reason I am linking to this is simple. Yesterday, I was down along the Rio and when heading back north late in the afternoon, I was listening to the local talk radio afternoon host who is a retired Army Colonel. Though I have heard his stupidity before (he sounds like a real socialist), I was startled to hear him call for the US to take Mexico and Canada and create the United States of North America. Moreover, he called for NATIONALIZING the police and called it the United States Police with the minor caveat of limited local oversight. He also called for breaking up Texas into five states and further, he called the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution nothing more than "TRADITIONS".

His publicly stated reasons is for efficiency- yes efficiency and the fact that our Founding Fathers could never have imagined the World as it is today. Things like planes, automatic weapons, nuclear bombs, telephones, the Internet... You know, things that men like Da Vinci dreamed of- and, of course, we know the Founding Fathers were a bunch of ignoramuses, unread and un-imaginative who had not the ability to think beyond their immediate desires.

If you do not think Agenda 21 and the goals of absolute control are not real just turn on some local radio- you might just be surprised too.

TUCSON - Members of the Pima County Republican Party have voted out their party chairman. Brian Miller came under fire, from fellow Republicans over comments he made, about a deadly SWAT team raid. Party leaders asked Miller to resign but he refused and Friday night his fellow Republicans passed a rule to force him out.

They voted on two questions. First, they to adopted a rule that let them oust party officers. Then, they voted to oust Miller.

In fact, he did not even report one thing to the police until after her body was discovered and the police came to him. Phase 7 / FASE 7

Work has had me swamped for two weeks but work also provided the opportunity to see Phase 7 and it is flat out a darn good movie.

The movie starts out with a very simple, oblivious, young Argentinian couple who are doing their shopping- fully unaware of what is occurring in the World until they reach home and Coco, the "man" of the house takes a call from his mother on the land line. She had tried in vain to reach him on his mobile but was unable to and he tells her that it was "probably a dead battery" without any concern or worry (Fully Condition White). She directs him to the television and he and his wife quickly learn of the pandemic. A short time later, he receives a call to be in the lobby of their new apartment complex which has just been quarantined. This starts the journey for Coco, his wife Pipi, and the rest of the tenants locked in. Of course, nearly all of the characters in this movie have NO clue. NONE whatsoever, and even when taught, lessons are ignored, forgotten or both- just like the people in your life and just like in real life- death happens.

Now, I want you to watch the following two trailers and guess which one is trying to see it fail (yes fail).

I wonder why the American trailer really is not about the movie- but the slam of the music, I wonder...

This is NOT a zombie movie, this is NOT REC or the Hollywood remake QUARANTINE- but a study in survival. As such the timing is measured- not slow, measured.

You may read that this is a parody but that is not what I watched. What I watched is a film that speaks about what so many folks in the World know, but are scoffed at for stating- the full hatred of the masses, the manipulation that occurs daily and has occurred throughout history.

(Yes boys and girls, conspiracies DO happen- all the time, just ask the American government which charges people daily with it. Or, simply pick up history books that are not approved for the government propaganda camps known as public education. Oh, that is right, that is just, well- out there, isn't it?)

The end goal is the destruction of all men except for those that planned the pandemic and whom they select (Phase 7). Of course, there will be survivors- always survivors.

This film deserves better and hopefully it will receive the recognition it deserves- it has earned it.

Since then, as everyone knows, it has only become worse. Day in and out, it has not stopped, the thieving, raping, and killing of These united States peoples- by what is best explained in the following quote from the movie THE PATRIOT by Mel Gibson's character:

Which EVERY legislature, FEDERAL, State and Local has done and for so many this state of affairs is becoming intolerable. Quite frankly, simply reading the Declaration of Independence is an exercise in pure anger today.

This document, something fully never said to the World before is utterly amazing and to this day frightens people. About eight or nine years ago, I had a telephone conversation with a friend from High School. He started in about how overwhelming the federal government "was" becoming and I let him talk for a goodly bit and then told him I wanted to read him something that listed quite a number of crimes the government was committing and he agreed. I went through around a fifteen items and said there were a dozen more Facts. When I finished, his voice lowered and he said, "If you publish this, they will kill you." I then told him that this was not my work and that the government had indeed killed some of the men who had signed and published it. He was not surprised and asked when it was and I told him, July 4th, 1776. There was a very long pause as what I had just told him sunk in.

Yes, I had paraphrased in modern English the Facts set forth in the Declaration of Independence and used examples that were recent in our history with each one- which is not hard to do.

And this is the problem, it is not hard to do.

I no longer think that the first three of the four boxes will solve anything in the state our fallen Republic is in and see the opening of the last box as the outcome- not on the horizon, but very close to shore and is not something that is truly wanted, just something that is utterly obvious.

Enjoy Independence Day with your family and friends, as always, we never know when our last will be so live today with every ounce of liberty our Founding Fathers wanted and bequeathed us- it is up to us to keep.

Afghanistan Central Bank Head Flees To US

In what may be the most prophetic news of the day, we learn that the head of Afghanistan's central bank, Abdul Fitrat (what an oddly appropriate name for a central banker), has escaped the country, emigrated to the US and "isn't expected to return because he fears for his safety after investigating fraud allegations at the country's largest lender, according to two Western officials." It gets funnier. From the WSJ: "Mr. Fitrat said he left the country because his life had been threatened and that the Karzai government was refusing to prosecute those allegedly involved in fraudulent loans, the Associated Press reported. "My life has become completely endangered," he told the AP. "Since I exposed the fraudulent practices on April 27 in parliament I have received information about threats on my life." Mr. Fitrat's family lives in the Washington suburbs, and he has permanent resident status in the U.S., according to a person close to the banker." Surely, Mr. Fitrat had nothing to do with the $850 million in "suspect loans" made by Kabul Bank which is at the core of the scandal.

So is it living or House Arrest to keep their mouths shut to protect the Banksters? My wager is the later.

This almost unbelievable scenario is the situation with Menwith Hill in North Yorkshire, the home of a major US military site that has been shrouded in secrecy during its two-decade construction.

It has now been reported as the site for “Echelon”, the top secret US eavesdropping system that intercepts communications from around the world.

Air Force and Navy aircraft are still flying hundreds of strike missions over Libya despite the Obama administration’s claim that American forces are playing only a limited support role in the NATO operation.

An Africa Command (AFRICOM) spokeswoman confirmed Wednesday that since NATO's Operation Unified Protector (OUP) took over from the American-led Operation Odyssey Dawn on March 31, the U.S. military has flown hundreds of strike sorties. Previously, Washington had claimed that it was mostly providing intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) and tanker support to NATO forces operating over Libya.

"U.S. aircraft continue to fly support [ISR and refueling] missions, as well as strike sorties under NATO tasking," AFRICOM spokeswoman Nicole Dalrymple said in an emailed statement. "As of today, and since 31 March, the U.S. has flown a total of 3,475 sorties in support of OUP. Of those, 801 were strike sorties, 132 of which actually dropped ordnance."

A White House report on Libya sent to Congress on June 15 says that “American strikes are limited to the suppression of enemy air defense and occasional strikes by unmanned Predator UAVs against a specific set of targets.” The report also says the U.S. provides an "alert strike package."

The case against a Rochester woman arrested while videotaping police has been dismissed.

Early Monday afternoon, demonstrators rallied outside the Hall of Justice in support of Emily Good, the city woman who was arrested while videotaping police officers during a traffic stop on May 12th in front of her 19th Ward home. (Click here to watch the video)

Good kept recording police officers while standing in her front yard even though an officer ordered her several times go inside. She was charged with obstructing of governmental administration. Since then, the video from that night has made it onto news shows across the country.

Good's attorney, Stephanie Stare, had asked for the charges to be dismissed. In court Monday, the District Attorney's office says based on a review of the evidence, there was no legal basis to go forward. The charge was withdrawn and the judge dismissed the case.

A joint statement issued by Mayor Tom Richards, City Council President Lovely Warren and Rochester Police Chief James Sheppard says they support the decision of the District Attorney's Office to dismiss the charges against Good. Click here to watch the video of Chief Sheppard's statement.

The statement says whatever the specific circumstances that led to Good's arrest, they see no purpose in pursuing the criminal charges.

Defenders of Islam call it a "religion of peace" but many Norwegian women are learning that Islam is the religion of rape. According to an amazing police report released there this month, every single solved case of assault-rape in the country in 2010 was carried out by a Muslim immigrant.

The report was cited by an official Norwegian television station, which interviewed a victim who said that her rapist explained to her that his religion permits him to rape her.

According to the police report there was a total of 186 of known rape cases in 2010. These fall into various categories, the largest one of which is assault-rape, carried out by sheer physical force, of which there were 86 cases. In 83 of these cases the perpetrator could be identified by the victim. In all 83, the attacker was described as having "non-western appearance," a laundered euphemism for Muslim immigrants from Africa, the Middle East, or Asia.

In other categories of rape there were Norwegian attackers as well, but they were still in the minority (Note: the translation of the Norwegian TV report embedded here does not make a distiction between "assault rape" and other forms of rape, and appears to confuse the statistics for 2010 with those for 2006-2010).

For more than thirty years, Edwin Vieira, Jr., has practiced law, with emphasis on constitutional issues. In the Supreme Court of the United States, he successfully argued or briefed the cases leading to the landmark decisions Abood v. Detroit Board of Education, Chicago Teachers Union v. Hudson, and Communications Workers of America v. Beck, which established constitutional and statutory limitations on the uses to which labor unions, in both the private and the public sectors, may apply fees extracted from nonunion workers as a condition of their employment.

He has written numerous monographs and articles in scholarly journals, and lectured throughout the county. His most recent work on money and banking is the two-volume Pieces of Eight: The Monetary Powers and Disabilities of the United States Constitution (2002), the most comprehensive study in existence of American monetary law and history viewed from a constitutional perspective.

He is also the co-author (under a nom de plume) of the political novel CRA$HMAKER: A Federal Affaire (2000), a not-so-fictional story of an engineered crash of the Federal Reserve System, and the political upheaval it causes.

We first met Dr. Vieira at our Casey Research Boca Raton Summit and were sufficiently impressed to want to hear more, and to share more, of his work with readers of The Casey Report.

DAVID: Before kicking things off, I'd refer readers to Dr. Vieira's in-depth and excellent paper, "A Cross of Gold," as that provides a more detailed analysis on how the corrupt U.S. monetary system might transition into something more honest and effective.

Getting started, from a big-picture perspective, technically speaking, is the current U.S. monetary system actually constitutional?

EDWIN: Well, technically speaking, factually speaking, legally speaking, no. In a word, no.

DAVID: Why not?

EDWIN: There are two levels to consider. First, there's the straight currency level – what is supposed to be the official monetary unit. Then there is "other," which I distinguish as different from the official monetary unit because the Constitution doesn't prohibit private parties from creating media of exchange for their own uses, as long as those media of exchange are non-fraudulent and they're operated in an otherwise honest commercial fashion.

But the official unit of currency is supposed to be the dollar, and I'll tell you exactly what a dollar is – it's 371.25 grains of silver in the form of a coin. That was determined as a historical fact in 1792. Actually the dollar was adopted before the Constitution was even written. It was adopted by the Continental Congress under the Articles of Confederation, the so-called Spanish milled dollar, which was the actual unit that was circulating then, because there had been essentially no coinage under the various colonial regimes in colonial America. So that's the dollar unit.

AND

EDWIN: And yet they allow for it. Now, either this is the biggest bunch of idiots that has ever been assembled in judicial robes in the history of humanity, or there's some other agenda going on here.

DAVID: Assuming that they are not complete idiots, what could that other agenda be?

EDWIN: In my view, and I've written about this for years, the people at the top levels of government understand that their monetary system is inherently flawed. That we're on the Titanic, in a sense, and they know that this ship is going to sink. They don't know when, but they know when it sinks, they're going to have a huge amount of economic dislocation, social crisis and civil unrest to the level of revolt.

So they started developing this police state mechanism in the hopes of keeping the lid on the garbage can when the monetary system breaks down. The upper echelons of the judiciary have been going right along with this because they know what the program is. This is obvious. No one in his right mind would stand by and allow the sort of excesses we’ve seen.

Just the other day, the Indiana Supreme Court ruled that the Fourth Amendment doesn't apply at all because you can sue the police after they've mistakenly broken into your home. But when they break into your home and they kill you, then what?

DAVID: Not a lot of recourse then.

EDWIN: Right, like that poor ex-marine that was shot 60 times in Arizona, and he's dead – now what, can he bring a lawsuit? Have we lost our minds? I mean, you don't have to be a Harvard-educated lawyer to know that this is insanity. This does not rise to the level of just mere error. No one in his right mind can write these kinds of opinions, which means that either they're insane, which I don't believe, or they have another agenda, and the judicial opinions are simply camouflage – they're propaganda to convince us that "Oh well, this is all right" because Judge Flapdoddle told us that it's all right.

Judge Flapdoddle- everyone knows these liars because we all have them. Lying filthy scum hiding behind what most consider an exalted black robe. They are just men who, like the rest believe themselves "Only Ones", who allow citizens to be "Whacked & Stacked" which is a mockery and brought us to "Injustice Everywhere". For those that doubt this, I remind you of "Project Gunwalker" wherein the plan to "walk" guns into Mexico was actually a cover to further eviscerate the 2nd Amendment and now, those that planned, approved, and watched have the blood of not just Mexicans, but Americans- Border Patrol Brian Terry and Ice Special Agent Jaime Zapata.

You cannot wash their blood away and what consistently comes to mind is: How many American Citizens names do we NOT know and just HOW MUCH blood is on YOUR HANDS? FTC Names British Government Agent to Senior Position

The Federal Trade Commission recently appointed a British government agent to a senior management position, raising serious concerns about the FTC's commitment to US sovereignty and the increasing role of unelected foreign antitrust regulators in restricting the property rights and economic liberties of American citizens.

On June 22, the FTC named Dr. Alison Oldale as deputy director for antitrust in the agency's Bureau of Economics. Dr. Oldale, who is not a US citizen, is currently the chief economist for the United Kingdom's Competition Commission (UKCC). According to a UKCC press release, Dr. Oldale will be "on a year's secondment" – in effect, on loan to the FTC – and she is expected to return to UKCC after completing her service in the US. The FTC's press release on Dr. Oldale's appointment did not disclose this.

Dr. Oldale joined the UKCC in 2009 after working as a director at LECG Corporation, an international consulting firm that provided expert testimony in antitrust litigation. LECG employees were frequent participants in FTC policy workshops, and David Scheffman, a former LECG director, served twice as director of the FTC's Bureau of Economics. LECG ceased operations earlier this year.

Obama is hoping these rumors can keep Tea Party members from supporting Perry if he receives the Republican nomination.

Perry on the InfoWars.com website, “every indication suggests that Bilderberg-approved Texas Governor Rick Perry is set to become the frontrunner in the Republican race to challenge Barack Obama for the presidency, illustrating once again how a shady, secretive and undemocratic global elite holds the reigns of true power while Americans are distracted by the delusional notion that they have a genuine choice in 2012."

The governor’s mandate of the HPV vaccine is indicative of a man who has lost touch with the citizens of our state.

As reported in DallasBlog.com, Merck’s Gardasil (HPV) vaccine already has been under fire nationally from the National Vaccine Information Center, which claims that “Merck’s clinical trials did not prove the human papillomavirus vaccine designed to prevent cervical cancer and genital warts is safe to give to young girls.” NVIC cites the trial studies as showing there were serious problems with adverse reaction to the shots: “Nearly 90 percent of Gardasil recipients ... followed-up for safety reported one or more adverse events within 15 days of vaccination, particularly at the injection site. Pain and swelling at injection occurred in approximately 83 percent of Gardasil” recipients. A majority of the young women who received Gardasil complained about “serious adverse events such as headache, gastroenteritis, appendicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, asthma, bronchospasm and arthritis,” according to NVIC.

This vaccine is very questionable and has not been in use long enough for there to be a comfort factor with many parents. What will it do to growing bodies long term? I am not opposed to vaccines in general, but the governor can count me as a one dissatisfied constituent on this one.

At best this move is irresponsible, at worst, it reeks of the odor of quid pro quo like some of the governor’s other moves. Why was the legislature circumvented by the executive in this case? The legislature had just now convened and had not had time to even visit the vaccine issue in full. A rational person should ask the question, just what was promised to the governor here?

Will big pharma dollars now back the governor’s future aspirations? A vice presidential nomination seems to be being talked about in Austin. The taxpayer- and property owner-hostile, foreign profiteer-backed Trans-Texas Corridor also comes to mind; Cintra-Zachary would no doubt love to keep the governor on the friends list. Why is it necessary to legislate away normal state and federal constitutional protections to build a road, Guv? It appears large interests can have all the friends they can afford, especially in Texas.

While the governor’s picked committee on appraisal reform came forward with a few decent suggestions concerning spending limitation, the overall report was at best anemic. They did not address the imbalances in the appeal process, for instance. In meetings all over the state I hear taxpayers suggest moving lesser dollar appeals to the JP courts. The governor’s committee proposal suggesting the appointment of Central Appraisal District representatives by the district judges and calling them “taxpayer representatives” would be funny if it wasn’t so sad. All over the state, Texans called for at least some members of both Appraisal and Appeals Boards to be popularly elected. I know that some members of the committee were people of good will, but a reasonable person could wonder how stacked the committee was with the governor’s own cronies.

The arrogance over the vaccine issue seals it. The governor must be impeached.

A planned second phase will release the software to all Spanish-speaking countries with agreements with ATF. Noticed another one of those unusual hits in the logs just a bit ago on this post.

Notice it is out of Alexandria, Virginia and the referring URL is this and that it had been E-mailed to the viewer via belong2.com. Notice when you hit that link it shows that the mail server is also used by the BlackRock Group. You can find more information about them here.

So, it seems, pants are brown streaked and specialized PR Software is now in play.

Pay heed to your logs- they reveal quite a bit of information.

the log doesn't necessarily suggest anything about an email. the host/ip fields mean that that is the client machine making the request to the webserver.

now it is extremely uncommon for a mail server to up and make an HTTP request while providing a "firefox" user-agent. suspicious, yes.

it is even more uncommon for a mail server to be running windows xp. doubly suspicious, yes.

He commented further and made me realize that some may think that the TinyURL links might possibly be nefarious. The links I provided in my post are not.

Further, I posted the following at WoG's to clarify what those TinyURL's are:

The TinyURL's were created by me due to the fact that Blogger would not take the long ixquick proxy URL's. I used ixquick to find out who and what vocuspr is and that is the PRSoftware firm. Further, I used ixquick to find out what belong2 DOT com is too. From that search, I found a robotex page showing that the Black Rock Group is on the same E-mail server as belong2.

Each TinyURL is listed below:

3. ixquick proxy Black Rock
4. ixquick secure Wiki Entry on Black Rock

Whoever it was that came from Vocuspr received an E-mail suggesting my blog entry from yesterday. Vocuspr is a software that is for automated PR and had never heard of them until I noticed that unusual entry in the visitor logs.

I am going to add this to an addendum so there is no confusion.

The reason for the TinyURL's and the ixquick proxy is to deny them where YOU are coming from, not the other way around. For those that do not know what the ixquick search engine is or what TinyURL does, go here and there respectively.

This should clarify any confusion, if not, post a comment and I will reply.

Too many of these visits today, not coming from the regulars or David's kind referral- all from either NO REFERRAL or via Google Reader screams an E-mailed link. Heck, many show that you came from E-mail so I ask, is this how you deal with postings about government crime? Seek out the citizens OPINIONS? To stop by for a simple visit during official working hours? Dig into we citizens? Yes, of course it is but I have this to say, Fuck You! I will post my thoughts and make sure, like so often before, that others have my logs.

The new rules were quietly announced Friday with a new memo from top officials at the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. The "prosecutorial discretion" memo says officials need not enforce immigration laws if illegal immigrants are enrolled in an education center or if their relatives have volunteered for the US military.

Understand, this desire is not viewed by all Americans of Mexican descent (no, there is no such race named Hispanics or hyphenated Americans [hyphenation is just a way to divide us]) or even by all Mexicans but like always, it just takes a small percentage (Threepers anyone?) to accomplish such goals and the States along the Southern border of the Republic has seen this happen for the past forty-years which has expanded to nearly all States across the Republic. The most damning revelations coming out of the hearings on Operation Fast and Furious held by the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform are the unmistakable indications that the program was never designed to succeed as a law enforcement operation at all.

A quartet of Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) agents and supervisors turned into whistleblowers to bring the operation down, but only after U.S. Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry was gunned down in the Arizona desert. Two of the weapons recovered at the scene of Terry's murder were traced to the operation.

Fast and Furious, also known by the more accurate "Gunwalker," allowed known straw purchasers to buy large quantities of firearms — often a dozen or more semi-automatic rifles — at a time with the full knowledge of ATF agents and executives. The guns were then smuggled into Mexico, as frustrated front-line ATF agents watched, under strict orders to do nothing.

ATF agents testifying in front of the House Oversight Committee could not explain how the operation was supposed to succeed when their surveillance efforts stopped at the border and interdiction was never an option.

ATF Agent John Dodson, testifying in front of the committee, said that in his entire law enforcement career, he had "never been involved in or even heard of an operation in which law enforcement officers let guns walk." He continued: "I cannot begin to think of how the risk of letting guns fall into the hands of known criminals could possibly advance any legitimate law enforcement interest."

The obvious answer is that Gunwalker's objective was never intended to be a "legitimate law enforcement interest." Instead, it appears that ATF Acting Director Ken Melson and Department of Justice senior executives specifically created an operation that was designed from the outset to arm Mexican narco-terrorists and increase violence substantially along both sides of the Southwest border.

This past weekend, both David Codrea and Mike Vanderboegh pointed out that their sources were supported by the WSJ report that Melson is likely gone and today, CNN reported the same on the Web and on the air:

Now, people may get all excited, but they should not beyond the fact that one criminal MAY be down and further proof and testimony is needed to finish this work that so that the States, or Congress can charge, impeach and then the Senate tries Barack Hussein Ombama for high Crimes.

MISSION — Drug smugglers opened fire on U.S. law enforcement officers Sunday morning near the Anzalduas International Bridge after Mission police intercepted a 500-pound load of marijuana, police Chief Leo Longoria said.

U.S. law enforcement officers shot back, Longoria said, and no injuries were reported. Details remained hazy Sunday afternoon, and Longoria couldn’t give further information about the brief shootout.

AND

Six police units, several more from the Department of Public Safety and a Border Patrol helicopter were called to assist. As the pickup fled, a green Chevrolet Avalanche with a young woman behind the wheel began harassing officers, Longoria said.

"She went head-on toward a police vehicle," Longoria said. "We're trying to see what her intent was, but obviously it was a very reckless action on her part."

Curious as Bordeland Beat just reported about it being safe to go back in the water as "Tourism rebounds on violence-marred border lake".

FALFURRIAS — Federal agents arrested the Pharr mayor’s son after they found more than 114 pounds of marijuana inside his vehicle.

U.S. Border Patrol arrested Leo Palacios III after he pulled up to the Highway 281 checkpoint south of Falfurrias about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to a criminal complaint. After a secondary inspection, they found the pot stashed in his Mercedes E320 sedan’s trunk.

Palacios, who lives in Austin and is son of the Pharr mayor of the same name, claimed he was in the Rio Grande Valley on business.

“I did not know anything about this,” the mayor said. “All I know was that he was arrested for possession. He hasn’t called me or anything.

Agents say they were about to release Palacios from the checkpoint when he started moving his car forward slowly.

Agents tapped the side of his car and waved their hands while telling him to stop, the complaint states. Other agents yelled at him to stop and he finally complied.

A drug dog alerted to the trunk of Palacios’ car and agents asked him to move it to secondary inspection. Palacios asked the agents why he needed the inspection, saying he didn’t see the dog do anything. Another agent commanded him to move the car to secondary and Palacios complied.

I received the Sentinel link on this Friday, spent some time last night reading further and was intending to write today about it but William Griggs has an excellent post on it and how the State of New Hampshire broke this man.

One evening in April 2001, Mr. Ball suffered a momentary lapse of patience with a disobedient four-year-old daughter and slapped her face. He left the house at his wife's suggestion. When he called her a short time later, he learned that his wife -- "the type that believes that people in authority actually know what they are talking about" -- had called the police, who told her that her "abusive" husband wasn't permitted to sleep in his own home that night. Ball was arrested at work the following day. Under the conditions of his bail, he wasn't allowed to ask his wife what had possessed her to call the police.

Years later Ball would learn that if his wife hadn't called the police and accused her husband of abuse, she would have been arrested as an accessory -- leaving the children at the mercy of New Hampshire's utterly despicable Division of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF).

Dot Knightly, who tried vainly for years to win custody of three grandchildren seized on the basis of spurious abuse and neglect accusations, recounts how a DCYF commissar contemptuously batted away both her pleas and her abundant qualifications to serve as a custodial caretaker: "Nobody gets their kids back in New Hampshire. The government gives us the power to decide how these cases turn out. Everyone who fights us loses."

Everyone should read Mr. Ball's statement- not merely Fathers, everyone as his facts and figures should open your eyes. The state is a monster- at every level and for those that think this hyperbole, I remind you of the Ballad Of Carl Dregga who chose another route. From Vin's December 1997 editorial take note of the sections that I have placed in BOLD:

"I sort the incoming letters-to-the-editor for a major metropolitan newspaper. The receipt of such sheafs of heartfelt, illiterate pleadings from folks at their wits' end (child custody leads the list, though property rights also feature prominently), pleading for help from SOMEONE, has become an almost daily occurrence."

For way too long, Americans have taken this abuse and now that more are waking up to the realities of the monstrosities that have been allowed to grow- so does the anger of the citizenry. However, the grip is becoming tighter and what I see coming, as do many of you, is something that is going to be ugly. If you think that Tom Ball's statement is nothing more than the ramblings of a crazy man, that is up to you. I do not and suspect we will see more acts.

Following up last weeks excitement down one the Rio, DPS claims that, "The smugglers threw rocks at the officers and then began firing guns at them. The officers returned fire, hitting at least three of the smugglers, who then fled into Mexico."

Now, originally it was reported the Mexicans had fired 100's of rounds North, and my original source told me this too, but was actually the reverse, so I just have to say good, I would think you should be able to hit something after dumping 300+ rounds south.

It is a good thing that Governor Brewer is angry over this, but like the first comment at SSI, my thoughts at first when I read this is when is she going to get angry at the police forces in her state and their atrocities?

The Dam Breaks. Oh, Gunwalker, where is thy sting? Melson and his popcorn. The meeting of Obama's Gunwalker capos & "a goin' jessie."

For those who have been paying attention, the Gunwalker conspirators' cover-up has been reduced to a tattered piece of underwear that wouldn't cover Weiner's little wiener.

First, the testimony of the ATF agents at the hearing today demonstrated that there was no "sting", thus there could not have been a "botched sting." What there was, it seems, was a program to encourage straw purchases and smuggling, but no "sting" by any known meaning of that word. Which begs the question, why? Issa, nettled by Cummings' complaints of a "political agenda" responded by asking if the entire purpose of allowing large numbers of weapons into Mexico didn't itself serve a political purpose? Meaning, of course, further restrictions on American firearm rights. Precisely.

Mike Vanderboegh and David Codrea truly deserve heaping praises for their tenacious grip since last December. It was they and the boys at CleanUp ATF that got the ball rolling and are closer and privy to much more information than I and why I want everyone to go read their posts, especially today's from MVB in regards to the Project Gunwalker hearings.

I watched over lunch to see so much fecklessness by certain representatives, Suckass and Lacy to name two, is angering and if you watch, you will understand my earlier post. Moreover, anymore I have nearly ZERO capacity for toleration of such- not just from politicians but those like Weasel Weich as well. However, I want to point out two things from this afternoons hearings- one was Blake Farenthold's suggestion about PRIVATE viewing of documents and then Issa's offer at the end of today's hearings about REDACTION. Remember everyone, they are POLITICIANS.

As a follow up to Monday’s hearing on a government program intended to track Mexican drug cartels, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee continues its inquiry today.

The Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) program “Operation Fast and Furious" allowed gun stores near the Mexican border to sell semiautomatic weapons in bulk to "straw purchasers" as a way to track Mexican drug cartels. Many of the guns were linked to crimes, including the killing of a Border Patrol agent.

Chair of the Committee, Darrell Issa (R-CA), and Senator Chuck Grassley (R-IA) released a report on “Operation Fast and Furious," which says border patrol and ATF agents were told to "surveil" weapons and not interdict. It also said agents warned of devastating consequences, including criminal activity, but supervisors ignored their warnings.

Issa just told Ronald Weich: "So felony stupid it got people killed!"

This was after listening to the Weasel Reich's opening statement about being so helpful and Representative Issa held up at least a half dozen pages that are fully redacted.

Then that Suckass Cummings (yes SUCKASS) apologizes for the whole committee and Issa verbally slapped him.

I do not know if I can continue to watch this crap much longer as I am too pissed.

EAST OF EDINBURG — The Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office is investigating a roadway shooting death involving several men with long-barreled firearms — possibly assault rifles — and a torched vehicle.

The shooting occurred about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, and authorities were called to the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 2812 and Uresti Street in connection with a firefight involving at least three separate vehicles, Sheriff Lupe Treviño said.

"When we arrived, we find one white pickup parked on side of road with one person having been shot multiple times," Treviño said. "A quarter-mile or less east of that location, we find a vehicle on fire."

"Additionally, on his own transport, a man arrived to a McAllen hospital with a gunshot wound."

While the investigation is on its preliminary stages, apparently one vehicle overtook the white pickup and opened fire, causing the truck to go off the road.

The vehicle that was burned is being considered a suspect vehicle because authorities believe that three suspects set it on fire right before they left.

Witnesses said the three men ran north, toward brush. Sheriff's Office K-9 units were being used to track the men down.

How many of you are tired of this bullshit? You are probably someone who thinks it is time to militarize the border and let the local populace live with such, but you are forgetting, or ignoring one important thing, which is the War On Some Drugs is a complete un-Constitutional farce! Prohibition does not work and did not even work when it was at least passed Constitutionally. However, most of you do not care and are OK with this instead of realizing that the War On Some Drugs has done more to lay the groundwork for the utter destruction of our Constitutional Republic (the Patriot Acts were the finish).

The War On Some Drugs is what laid the groundwork for Project Gunwalker and how many of you even understand this?

The dunes sagebrush lizard, while just five inches long, is causing a big ruckus in the oil patch.

The federal government is considering whether to put it on the endangered species list, with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service arguing that oil and gas development in the Permian Basin, a rich oil-producing area in West Texas and Southeast New Mexico, is destroying parts of the lizard's home, a unique sand dune ecosystem.

The oil industry says the listing of the Sceloporus arenicolus would bring economic ruin.

"This is the most prolific oil-producing region in onshore America," said Ben Shepperd, president of the Permian Basin Petroleum Association, an industry group in Midland, Texas. "If you are to knock out a big portion of that, it clearly would drive prices up at the gasoline pump."

So I think the Muslim Kenyan is saying "Kill onshore oil production- thus kill America."

And Rick "Benedict" Perry killed HB 1937 because he lacked the balls to stand up, or does he want to see it destroyed as well?
